I am a 15 year old girl who is obsessed with all things animal, if you want i could help with all animal problems. I research various dog breeds and could be a big help with research. I have a lot of expierience with animals big and small, and would love to answer your questions, whatever they may be. I have a passion for exotic animals, especially reptiles. And i would love to own a big male neapolitan mastiff someday. I may be young, but i know what im saying, and will be completley reliable with my information. I want to be a veterinarian for exotic and domestic animals, so throw your questions my way. I also love piercings and body mods, and know a lot about them. I know my way around a relationship too ;D just sayin. Dont be shy :)

right now i have two mixed dogs. one is about 50 pounds the other is about 45 pounds. they are about 1 and 3 years old. I wanted just one more dog. however my husband says no! but he said no to the other two and he loves them to death. they are our children. i saw a dog i wanted and i asked him to come see it, he said no because he will get it. should i really not get another one? the two i have are shelter dogs. they are well behaved. i have a averaged sized yard fenced in. and our house is a three bed room house.
the type of dog i wanted is a husky. i did not want to wait too long because i wanted the dogs to be close in age. i dog want a 10 yr old dog and a puppy. should i push for this dog or give up. i know if i oush hard enough i could have the dog. but is there something i am missing? (link)
If you want a husky i would do a lot of research on them, my friend has one, he is very smart, but extremley stubborn, he refuses to use the bathroom outside. He is a lot of fun, and a big baby, but he constantly tries to escape, and wen he does it takes hours to catch him because of all the stamina he has. He has also killed 3 cats, 2 opposums, and countless rats....and its not because my friend didnt train him properly, she has two other dogs who behave like angels. Haha he can be a handfull but honestly hes the most fun ive ever had. Hes full of puppy shinanigans, and i have countless stories of how mischievious he is. It is am extremley smart breed and he has learned to open the fridge, and drawers, and even some doors. He uses his brains to scheme plans....just sayin...

My brother found a bird a couple days ago and we are taking care of it. I don't know what kind of bird it is.

He has feathers that stick up on his head.

When you put your finger up to his face, he will put his head down so you could pet his head.

His beak is grey. The top part curves down into the bottom half of his beak. The top is bigger than the bottom.

Thank you to everyone who answers! (link)
Hmmm i would need to know the color of him. Since he is friendly i would assume he is a domestic pet bird. What you described sounded like a cockatoo, but i could not be certain without a better description. Because many birds have what you said, i am just going with the the most common pet that it could be. If its small then it could be a cockatiel, but i have never seen one with a grey beak.

Hello, my aunt is searching to adopt a rescued schnauzer and we looked through google, but some of the sites are vague and not very helpful. We're also weary because we found a site when my mother and I were looking for a German Shephard and we ended up meeting a really shady character, so does anyone know of any good, safe sites where we can find an adult, rescued Schnauzer in the Van Buren County area of Michigan? Indiana is also fine. Thank you! (link)
You can go on www.petfinder.com and search for dogs by their breed and your zip code,

I just got a new Boxer puppy. Shes 3 and a half months old, and she used to live with her two parents and 5 other dogs which she got to play with everyday. So I know it's hard for her to not always have someone to play with. Today, (Sunday) I spent the day with her and she was mostly outside with me or sleeping on my lap inside. The only issue is that my mom doesn't want her walking around inside the house (but when she's not home, I let her) because she can't deal with the puppy peeing and pooping all over. So, sometimes, we put her crate in the garage which is heated (we don't keep cars in there.)She also sleeps in there at night. I put her in there and tied her leash to her cage so she could move around a few feet surrounding her cage. I also put toys and a bowl of water. 15 minutes passed, and she was still howling and barking. It really bothers me, and as much as I'd like to let her keep sleeping on my lap, I'm incredibly tired, and I'm in high school, so I have work to do. I don't know if she's barking because I'm teaching her wrong, or if she misses her puppy friends. I have no idea how to make her okay with being in her crate. The first two days that we had her, she was fine in her crate and slept after whimpering a little bit, but now she is full out barking and howling for much longer than normal. Help???? (link)
It is very wrong to leave a puppy in the garage all the time.
It is cruel to keep a social animal away from her pack, especially a baby who needs reasurence from her family. She needs to be taught the correct way to act. A puppy is a major responsability and you should not have gotten a puppy if you cannot take care of it properly. She can grow scared and aggressive if she is continued to be treated like this. Boxers are a very smart sweet, and loyal breed of dog, but they are also a large breed which means they need A LOT of excersize every day. So she should not be tied to her crate to walk around it, she needs a back yard, or at least to b taken on long walks daily. And boxers seeing how they have short noses cannot live outside, they need to live inside to become a good dog. If you potty train her you will not have to worry about her pee or poo in the house. If you cannot let her live in the house then i do not think you should keep her.

my dog is blooding could she be pregnant or is it just a period and if it is a period how long does it last for ? (link)
It is just her heat cycle, it will happen twice a year. And unless your dog is a pure bred that has the correct standards that you would like to breed then i would suggest getting her spayed so that she does not end up getting pregnant. This would also help protect her from different diseases in the future. :)

I really like this girl, but she doesn't like me. She likes one of my best friends. And were graduating soon ,but she's going to a different school from me and i won't be able to see her anymore. I only have until June 10 left. Should I just give up liking her? Please help! (link)
Its hard, but i think you need to let her go. Even though you like her, you cant make her like you if she doesnt feel like you do towards her. Its just a matter of personal preference. but this has happened to me before, and i felt much better after i learned to move on. There is someone out there for you, you just have to find that person. Make sure they love you for you.
