why are capital letters required at the begining of every sentence? i don't like themm. (link)
|
Because all those people who made up grammar thought that capital letters needed more of a chance to appear in every-day speech, as opposed to just for proper nouns.

Can you ask yourself questions? (link)

As I have just shown, yes, you can.

my favorite question of all time:
How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood? (link)
|
Scientific answer:
I don't think wood chucks really eat wood.
Better answer:
Enough wood to take over the world with, in alliance with the squirrels, at which point they shall force us all to work in their wood-and-nut mines.

Same place my red ones went.

I'm surrounded by idiots. My chemistry teacher has to spend whole classes explaining concepts over and over. How do I deal with people who are thick as a brick when I just want to get a good grade in chem? (link)
|
It depends. If, by getting a "good grade", you mean cover all the subjects in chem, the I would agree with most people here and suggest trying to transfer. But if you're not, and just don't want to fail the tests, I would pay attention until you've learned the new topic, then do one of the following:
1.Doodle.
2.Write a novel. Or several.
3.Do other homework (yes, I know it's already been said.)
4.Sleep. (you may want to pretend to be looking at your text book, with your head in your hands for this one. Putting your head right on the table is a bit obvious)
5.Daydream-just zone out entirely.
6. If your school has those weird tiles like mine has, count the holes in them.
7.Learn a foreign language. Or several.
8.Play with a toy underneath the table. If you can get one of those calculators with games on it, this is especially good, as you can always turn it off really quickly if someone sees it, and pretend to have been doing something chem-related with this. (I don't know whether you use calculators in chem or not, however-I haven't taken it yet.)

Why are squirrels such vicious and demonic rodents? (link)

Because they're out to get you, naturally.
