My friend asks me for advice a lot and always comes to me for help. I appreciate it, but I'm not to good at being comforting. ok heres my problem,

Well this guy sounds like a dirtbag,no offense, seriously. I think the best thing to do is not listen to what people say and ask him yourself. I have had friends like this. Sometimes i hurt their feelings and told them to leave me alone, or you talk too much. That was a mistake and i shouldnt have done that. But the best thing you should do is try to talk to your friend and tell her sometimes she can be annoying and tell her the way you feel. I know it will be kind of hard but its better for her to know than for her to keep doing it. Dont be mean in a way you think you'll hurt her. The symptoms of depression are feeling hopeless, low self esteem, temper tantrums, problems with sleeping. I guess all teens have to go through depression. The best thing to do is spend time alone with yourself. Try meditating it works for some people but if thats not your style try writing in journal or diary. How did you loose your boyfriend? If you dumped him then chances are he still likes you. But if he dumped you he probably just wants to be friends with you and wants to be there for you in a friend way. But if you both agreed that things werent working out, you should have a talk with him and tell him how you feel. Maybe you'll be lucky and he feels the same way about you. Well you cant be liked by everyone thats a fact, because you wont like everyone you see walking down the street. You should talk to them. But dont get an attitude. Show sympathy and show them that your mature. Theyre more likely to listen to you this way. Tell them about the priveleges you miss having and show them that you care about the situation. If you follow these steps and they still dont listen to you the best thing to do is to let them know that even with your privelges like hanging out with your friends you'll still be there for them and handle your responsibilities.
