ok, i have a stye on my eye, and it hurts really badly. I can't blink without feeling pain. What can I do to make it go away? What are the causes of styes? Also, I have an eye doctor appointment tomorrow (4/24). Is the stye going to affect it? Will my doctor still be able to do all the tests he needs to do (its just a regular check up).

well i'm 13 and i have a stye if that helps.
first just get like a cloth of something then soak it in hot or warm water (not hot enough to scald yourself) then after the cloth is nice and hot drain it so it as much as you can, it doesn't matter if its a bit wet. then close your eye and put the cloth on your eye. for best results do it 3 or 4 times a day for a couple of days. after about 3 or 4 days of doing that and it still hasn't gone away go to the doctors. maybe when you go to the eye doctor he can help you.
