i've been getting my period since april 04 and i got it on the 24th for april may june july and august. i didnt get it september but octor 2nd. now its november 5th and i still didnt get it. this is really messed up! what do i do because i dont know when to expect it and i'm sick of wearing dark jeans all the time. thx-very self conscious (link)

Dont be worried! When you first start having your period, it wont normalize for about another year or 2!
Another thing, dont WORRY about what your wearing! dark jeans, light jeans, it wont show through if you have a good pad/tampon in! Just make sure you have a few *extras* just in case!

The scoop is, the best shampoo and/or conditioner for colored/highlighted hair is the brand that has that line. Some brands [Garnier Fructis (bright Green Bottle)] have a "Color Treated" line of products. Just look towards the bottom of the bottle [on the front]!

Hun, I know exactly what your saying. But hate to burst your bubble, those shops [Aeropostale, Abercrombie, Pac Sun, etc] were made for lots of teens to shop in and adore the clothes!!
But no offence! Becuz I kno how you feel! If you still really like those clothes, maybe dress them up a little bit, even if its a matching handbag! Make it OrIgInAl! Make it YoUrS!

im going to a camp in another state and my cousin is going to the same camp. (its a church camp) and i dont think my cousin likes me very much. i just move to this church so i dont know anyone but my cousin. i dont want to hang out with her cause she'll get mad! i dont know what to do. (link)

Just remember, you don't have to necassarily like anyone... but you don't have to hate them either! Be nice to her, even if she isn't to you. That will show her who's the more mature one in the situation!
Also, when your at camp, go out and do fun activities! be willing to meet new people and maybe your cousin will do the same!

Hello! What a great question!
If you are planning to go outside, wether its to the beach or just working outside, try some Spray which you should be able to buy from stores like target, or Walmart! What it is is that you spray it into damp hair, then go out in the sun. This will lighten your hair up beautifully without damaging it! My sister did it and she was very happy with the results!

Hello! What a great question!!! I started when I was in 7th grade!! The families I babysat had no problem at all with my age. But it depends how good you are with kids. If you can't do babysitting, look at mowing lawns, doing odd jobs around peoples houses, cleaning houses, or maybe just tutoring children!
If you are looking for babysitting jobs, let your parents know that if they have co-workers with young children, that your available to babysit! thats how i got started! also go into your church and play in the nursery with kids! you will find that this helps alot! Once you get one family, you could be reccommended alot from just that one family!!

If your laid back, very easy going, choose cool colors like blues & purples and soft greens!
If your more wild and like to have fun, chose vibrant colors like magenta,red,& yellow!!
Also, stripes are a great way to make a small room look larger!!! horizontal stripes make it look longer, while vertical stripes make the ceilings look taller!!

Hair... Maybe instead of dying it a totally different color, try using highlights & lowlights! for your highlights, use a lighter blonde and for your lowlights, use more of an auburn [not too dark]! Then get a fabulous cut!

My dance teacher recently had a baby boy(hes now 5 months) She also has a 2 year old boy. I volunteered to babysit for her once the baby is older. I've babysitted before but I had some help. Actually, I just helped babysit. I entertained them and the actual babysitter fed them, changed them, etc. I've never changed a diaper but I'm pretty sure I know how to fix them something to eat. I just want some tips on what all I should do and remember. Any ideas on activities? Snacks? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks (link)

What a great question! I myself am babysitting right now as we speak [but the child is sleepin]!
When you babysit by yourself for the first time, you might feel a bit nervous! Let the parents know that this is your first time alone when you babysit! They can answer any questions you may have!
Also before you babysit alone, you should find a local Red Cross company or a hospital & take a babysitting class! this will help you know how to change diapers, and they give you good ideas for activities! they also give you CPR details! find one near you and you will be in good hands!

Hey!! Well... many parents have an age limit when you can go on dates! well some of my friends started being "bf/gf" in 5th & 6th grade! they never went anywhere special... but they knew they liked each other. But as you get older... you will know when your ready! there shouldn't be a certain age... because right now if i just said that you should get one when your 17, then if you couldn't find someone... you would feel forced to finding that special someone! it shouldn't be forced like that. take your time and do what you think is right for you!
If you are homosexual, you may feel alone and not wanted! It is never wrong to feel an attraction to the same sex. You can chose when you should tell someone. but you should know, that when you tell someone, they may become shocked and go into a stage where they are "sickened" and do not want to be your friend anymore! don't be afraid. it should never leave you friendless!
