hmm, I'm a 16 year old highschool chick, I'm opinionated and some people hate me for that, I give good advice my friends have told me. But theres not much more to me. I'm always there when people need me. Okay well my buddy, he isn't doing to well, he has his good days and his bad. I guess she told him that she was dating this new guy, and he fliped, I mean I had to hold him down.
Is there anything that I can tell him to keep him from doing this to himself? I mean with you do you think your new guy is gonna last?

I don't know if anything is gonna last, with new guy it's been about a month now, so I dunno, I can't really tell you anything that's gonna stop him from doing whathe's doing except be there to listen to him if he needs to talk about something

Well, first we dated for 9 and a half months, so the break up was pretty bad, but then after I got over the fact that we were over, he wanted me back, but I don't know about your friend, but my ex was the biggest control freak you've ever seen. I heard from some of his friends about how he thought he had me right around his little finger, and how he planned for the guy i'm currently dating to kiss me, and then my ex was gonna come and break up with me. I hope your friend doesn't get mad that his ex is dating other people, 'cause that would be a huge mistake. It didn't work for Nate, and I don't think it will work for him. But if he accepts it, then there still might be a chance

What if she never wants him back and he doesn't want to move on, and he waits, but then she doesn't want a thing to do with him? Then what does he do? My friend is becoming depressed and he doesn't know what to do other then drink his problems away, is this a good idea?

Oh man, this is like exactly what is going on with me too. I can't really tell you what's gonna happen if she doesnt want him back because i know nothing about him, he really shouldn't drink his problems away, he's too young to do that. I know what you mean when he says he's becoming depressed, because well... that's like my life, but he shouldn't drink his problems away, it won't work, and he's too young to be ruining his life like that

How will my friend know when it is right to get back with his ex?

That's a tough one, just let time run it's course is all I can say... and yell at my ex, who's being pushy, but let time runs it course let your friend and his ex do their things and just hope for the best

Well my friend has figured something out. I don't know if you would agree but I think it will be alright to do. Do you think it is okay for him to date while he waits for her? Because I mean she is out there doing her thing I think he can do his, and at some point when they both aren't with someone they try it again right?

Yeah so...uh well my friend, his ex has been sending him some mixed signals. She has been talking more and more about trust and how he can prove himself to her. He wants to prove himself but is there anything that you could tell me to help him along? He really really loves her with all his heart and soul.

ummm... I don't know, trust is one of the hardest things to prove to someone. I think he should just be himself, he should just I don't know, listen to what she says, it's hard to give advice on this, so my answer's a little choppy

So do you miss him? Because all my friend talks about is how much he wants to be with her and how much he misses her. Oh one other thing what if your ex doesn't want to have you back? What if the tables get turned? What if you waited to long? What if my friend waits forever and she ain't coming back, and he misses out on all the good things in life?

Life is about risks, I don't think that your friend should miss out on everything that life has to give. In my case, if my ex doesn't want me back, then so be it it was a good run. In your friends case, it might and might not be the same, but you can;t wait foreverm you have to live your life to the fullest, I sound like such an old freak, but I'm not, I've been there, i've missed a lot already

Are you over him to the point where you can date someone else? Or do you think that since there could be a chance you wouldn't date anyone else?
With my friend his g/f is kinda seeing someone, but he also thinks that as the two of them stay apart, that it is okay for him to see others, and her too, do you think that is right? Do you think that the two of them will fall in love all over again?

At the moment yes I am currently seeing someone else. If there is still hope for the two of them then they can go date other people and live they're lives, and then if there's hope they will always come back to each other. But in order for that to happen they should also try to remain friends, even if they aren't dating. Or at least try that (being friends)

Well right now, I am currently getting know my ex over again, because well I don't know if your friend was a jerk about the break-up but my ex was. So I'm getting to know him. Yes I believe there probably is still a chance with me and him. But for that it would take a lot of getting to know each other again.

I have this friend. He wants more then anything in the world to get back with his girlfriend. She thinks he is doing it because of the guy she is seeing. But he comes to me all the time, asking me the same question, why doesn't she just listen to what I have to say? I love her and I know she still loves me. I keep telling him to wait it out everything will work out if it was meant to be. Do you think that he should wait it out? Or should he keep trying hard to get her back?

Well, I guess this is what I am going through, I think you are right because things were ment to be then everything will work out. Maybe he could ask her to sit down one night and ju7st talk about what happened, but if he keeps pushing it then she will never want to get back together with him. I hope it all works out

I have this new girl in my neighborhood. My friend really likes her but I don't. Because when my friend is with her they ignore me. Now that it's summer they're always having a water fight, and they're arn't inviteing me to have a water fight. Should I ask if I can play or just watch them have the best time of their lives while I do nothing but watch tv. I need someone to answer me quick.

ask em if you can join, if they dont let you.. some friends they are, if they say no then go see some of your other friends dont let your entire summer go to waste in front of the tv!

I'm going into the 9th grade this year. I'm looking forward to it, except for one part.. I have to ride the bus. I rode it in the 7th grade & part of the 8th grade. A bunch of the guys on the bus are total jerks. They harassed me & my friend & one guy even grabbed my friend's butt! And the bus driver doesn't give a crap about it. I dreaded going to school if I had to ride the bus that day. What can I do to prevent myself from riding the bus? I don't wanna be a victim of harassment anymore.

There isn't much that can be done about taking a bus most highschools are bussed in, but talk to your principal, because you can get tranferred to another bus if there is harassment on the bus, the principal should do something about it, or they shouldnt be a principal

Talk to your friend find out if shed be upset of the two of you dated, if she is then fine out why, but he is her ex that might be a factor because maybe they arent on good terms right now, but if they are okay with each other then I'd say go for him, she shouldnt be upset since she already had her chance with her, but it didnt go well if they are now ex's good luck

i went out with this guy fro 8 months, we broke up durning the school year and i still like him. now my friend likes him. well shes so annoying and she brags about what they to me. no matter how much it doesn't work you have to keep telling her that its annoying what she is doing, if you have to talk to the guy and get him to ask her to stop because that is the most annoying thing in the world to have people brag about stuff that they're doing with guys/girls

My family expects me to be exactly like my cousin, "Sarah". Sarah's one of those preppy, popular girls, & I'm not even close to that. I have a few close friends & I'm more laid-back. Just because we look alike (we look like sisters), everyone expects us to act alike. I hate being compared to Sarah all the time & being expected to be like her. I don't want to be her shadow. Talk to your family, tell them how you feel and just because you look like your cousin you do NOT want to be exactly like her, you want to be an individual and orginal. I'm sure your family, at least I hope your family understands that veeryone is different and like to act like a different person and not like somebody else

For a bit, don't hang around him if he's goning to talk about this other girl, if he doesn't stop talking about this girl when you are around him tell him you don't appreciate that he talks about other girl all the time, it hurts you
