I have a mac. For some odd reason, whenever I go onto Youtube, there is no sound. But any alerts I get still make a sound. I can even hear other websites. It just started today. What's up??

I'd just try to reinstall flash player & if that doesn't work reinstall your sound drivers. Other that that Idk.. sorry man.

My bf is always saying something nasty about his friends behind there backs. It makes me wonder if he does the same to me.
He has one friend who is 37 and doesnt have a girlfriend. He was laughing about him one day and said "that guys still a virgin". Another friend of his has a cushy job selling a health food product from his home and he said "he spends all day sitting behind his computer".
He has also said things about friends of mine. He told me he thought my one friend was gay because he didnt have a girlfriend. I defended him and said he just hadnt found the right guy yet. He also told me that any guy or girl who didnt have a bf or gf by a certain age was gay. He's said some pretty mean things about gays as well. He also makes snide remarks about woman, and thinks that men are superior.
I don't know why he has to act like this, I don't like him when he acts this way. When he's alone with me he is really sweet but when he's around his other friends this really mean side of him comes out.
Is this a guy thing? Are all guys like this? And what can I say to him to get him to stop making all the put downs?

I'm a guy. And I have a girlfriend. I trash my friends all the time. They do the same to me. Its just what guys do. We don't talk about our girlfriends behind their backs. Hope i was of Help.

So, I just got a Creative Zen Nano Plus for Christmas. It has a 1 GB harddrive, and it's pretty flippin' sweet, but I'm having some difficulties disconnecting it from my computer.

I've read the instructions that came with it for disconnecting the player. Of course, I know I could just yank the USB cable out, but it's not supposed to work like that, and it doesn't. I tried, sadly. I was supposed to have about 90 folders, and only 50 showed up.

The instruction booklet says that if you are a Windows 98 SE user, open Windows Explorer and right-click Removable Drive, then eject. I've done this a million gazillion times with no gain. It still does the same thing--only 50 or so folders show up.

"If I'm doing everything right and it's still not working," I thought, "maybe there's a corrupt file or virus that's causing it to do this." So I tried to run a sweep on the harddrive. Alas, my Spy Sweeper trial has expired.

So, my question is, what the hell am I doing wrong? Is it a corrupt file? A bad USB cable? Stupidity on my part?

And if it IS possibly a corrupt file, do you know of any programs other than Webroot's Spy Sweeper that I could download to use?

Anyone computer/mp3 player savvy is absolutely welcome to help me out. Good answers appreciated.

Hmm..... You could try Adaware by Lavasoft. Goto www.lavasoft.com. It's free and it's not a trial. They have a free version and a version that costs. They both work just as well. You might have to search the site to find it. But most likey thats not the problem. It might be a bad USB cable but if it was most likely no folders would show up. Another solution if you might just be out of space on it. If it's only 1 gigabyte and you have about 50 folders full of songs then it might be full. When you enter it in the USB goto 'My computer' and there should be something that reads 'Removable Disk' it might say F or G or anything like that. I'm not a pro at Windows 98. I have 2000, and i work with XP a lot. But just goto the Removable disk and click it once. on the side it should say Free Space: ###. then under it it will say Total Space. if they both have the same number it's full. I hope i was of help.

I got less than a week before tryouts. How do I let my team-mates know that I'm not doing my sports in the fall season. I don't want to get made fun of or yelled at or anything by them. Is there anything I can do other than just not showing up. Everyone keeps asking me to go and work out with them, but I always come up with excuses. What should I do
