I'm trying to learn how to play guitar, & I don't relly want to ahve to go get lessons, so I wanted to be self-taught, but I don't know any iste where I can learn how to play or know where to buy any books to learn how to play.
I don't know any chords or keys or anything, I am JUST starting so I'd need like the things what show you where to put your fingers & how to tune the guitar & stuff
so if anyone could show me a site that I could learn form or where to buy these books I would really appreiciate it!
& I was also wondering, should I buy an accoustic or a eliktic guitar? (I'm 14/M/TX)

hey hey...my name is Tara and i learned how to play guitar abpout 1 year ago and i learned on electric....it is sooo easy!!!! if you need any tips or ne thing you can e-mail me at tecno_62@yahoo.com or if you have yahoo! messenger by chance i.m. me at tecno_62....hope i can help.
you can go to any local music store and buy books for it...and they usually come with the guitar if you buy a guitar a book should come with it.
