Finally, a question up my alley!
Okay, for a main entre, try making tempura. It's basically fried fish (usually a type of prawn) or if you're strapped for time, you may go for simple sushi (though you should probably cook the fish/shrimp first!). For drink, there is a soda called Ramune'. It comes in a glass bottle that uses a marble as a stopper. Push the marble in and enjoy! It comes in many different and unique flavors (mango and melon are my favorite). If you have a culture store that sells japanese items then that's a good place to start! An easy and delicious dessert is Onigiri. Onigiri is a ball of sticky sweet rice with sweet bean paste in it and usually wrapped in dried seaweed. The sweet bean paste can be substituted with jelly or jam if you can't find it. Plum jam is best!
As far as japanese people dress outside of kimono, it's up in the air. As a rule, the more creative the better! Japanese fashion varies from area to area all over the country. A major thing right now is vintage clothing, so try that. If you have trouble, try googling it! (Japanese casual fashion has some results)
And fortune cookies are chinese, but they're still fun!

This is normal.
From what you've put here, you seem to have some things that anger you a lot. I can relate, honestly. When I get that angry I try some more unconventional ways of calming myself.
Video Games:
Believe it or not, kicking the crap out of a computer player is a great way to release pent up stress. Yell at the character, pull a combo, beat a boss monster, etc. It may not be the most scientifically approved way of anger management, but it helps.
Writing/Blogging:
Write in a journal that no one sees. Make a blog unrelated to the rest of your sites. Once you have, rant/flame/whine all you want. If you're angry at someone, write about it! You'll find you feel a bit better to get your feelings out.
Or
Call Someone:
I have a list of friends in my phonebook that I can call at all hours and just complain. I rant and scream and cry to them and they listen, offer some comforting words, and sometimes advice. If you have a friend who is willing to just be yelled at for your sake, call them. You feel better once you've told people what's bugging you.
Hope this helps!

Are your classes boring you?
From what I've learn, if my classes are long, drawn out, or not entertaining in the least, I get sleepy just from being bored!
My advice, try keeping your mind active. If the teacher is giving a lecture or demonstration, try and guess what's going to happen next. Don't just watch, think along with what's going on!
If you're having free time and you can't nap, try reading a good book. If you can find a book or author you really like, try reading that.
If your keep your mind active then you'll have an easier time staying awake.

There is no magic spell or charm to change your personality from hermit to social butterfly, but there are ways to seem less clammed up.
Try talking to some people you aren't familiar with, maybe if you see someone reading a book you've read or by an author you know strike up a conversation about the book/author. The best way to get to know people, from my experience, is to find ways you are similar. Perhaps you're just shy about talking to people you don't know? If that's the case, go ahead and have a friend introduce you to someone that knows them, but not you. Don't be afraid to talk or speak your opinion. And whatever you do, don't pretend or lie about what you like. Faking your way into a friendship will only lead to more problems. Be honest about what you think and you'll make friends that will stick with you longer!
