where is the radiator located in an 1990 acura legend, and how do i put in the antifreeze? (link)
|
Well if lits like every other car in this world it would be either in the front of the engine compartment, or on one of the sides, most likely since its more of a new age car unlike the 50's and ear;y 60's it should be up front, to put teh anti-freeze in you have to take off the radiator cap, a small round metal cap right in the middle top of the radiator, then you SLOWLY pour it down there...MAKE SURE THE CAR IS OFF AND COLD, you will spew stuff everywhere if the engine is still hot or warm.

Here is the thing i have this really nice lowered blue s-10 ( i have posted other things on here b4) but anyways my mom says that i can't drive it in the snow cause it isn't save and that my brother has a friend that will trade me cars and his is a volkswagon golf hatchback, which isn't that good of a looking car but it is safer. I really like my truck tho and i was planning on painting it and suping it up more and now i don't know if i should trade cars and be safer or keep my truck. help i am not sure what i should do? thanks for anyhelp (link)

Ok here is my idea, im not a big fan of lowered trucks but this is what you should do...keep your truck, and if your brother will allow you to borrow his car when you need it do so, and just save up for a cheap used car that you can use, so you get a different car that is safe, but yet you still keep your truck

I doubt anyone will know the answer to this but here it goes... I was working on a car for my friend. Its a cabiretta (OLD CAR) and i had to replace the starter, the battery, steering column, and the rimes, wheels, and tires. We turned on the car and it was working earlier after i completed it BUT now when we try to start it the car will not turn over. I know that the starter is good because its brand new, and so is the battery.. IT was working about 15 minutes ago.. NOW it doesnt turn over.. who knows the problem (link)

ok if it was working before changing everything its either your battery or starter no matter what you say...unless you took apart somthing that you didnt put together right again....make sure everything that needs to be grounded is grounded and grounded good. If you try starting the car and it clicks it is NOT your alternator it is your battery being dead and if its a new battery then it must not b clicking, now for the starter im not to familiar with all i know to test to see if it is working is to put a screw driver on it while you have someone else try starting the car if the car starts to turn over then stops the the starter is fine, if it does nothing somthing is wrong with the starter or your ground. have fun

My car keeps dying every once in a while. It happens usually when I brake to stop. I had the air filter changed, I got a new muffler, etc. What could be causing this and how do I stop it. It died when I was on a steep him, and I rolled into the middle of the intersection and almost got hit. I don't want to get into an accident, I can't afford it. (link)

its not your battery, you dont need pimp my ride, and you do not need another car, most likely it is your carbuerator, you prolly say "what the heck is that." well get someone around you that knows alot about cars and ecspecially your idle cause thats your problem, your idle is to low, you can ajust the idle by little screws on your carburetor DONT AJUST THEM YOURSELF YOU WILL SCREW YOUR CAR UP make sure its someone who knows cars, but tell them to higher your idle and you will be set, you should idle around 750-1500 rpm's depending on the car. but mess with the idle and it should work...HAVAE FUN

I tried to start my car today and it wouldn't start. I tried jumping it and it still won't turn over. Do you guys have any idea what it might be? (link)
|
ok well most likely if your car is not starting its either you have no gas (guage could be broke), or your starter is not working or is completely dead, a starter ranges in prices from 90-130 dollars not a big pocket killer, but if you want to check to see if your starter is wokring use a screw driver and hold it against your starter while you have someone else turn the key over, if nothing happens your starter is fried, if somthing does happen like you feel alittle shock or sparks go out, then your starter is fine but somthing else isnt, you can also check your battery cause that could be so dead not even a jump start can get it started...have fun playin with your car
