Can you drive a 3.5 ton truck on a normal driving licence (link)
no you can not drive anything over 1 ton without a commercial license, and depends what the truck has on it (air brakes.. etc) you would need at least a B class license

I am looking for a VW Jetta, Toyota Corolla, Toyota Celica, Honda Civic, Ford Mustang but I really would like to know what one would be safest.. (link)
Ok, out ouf all the cars you listed, the VW Jetta is the safest, being the toyota corolla only has 2 airbags v.s. the jettas 6, the mustang is a great car, just not a car you want to be driving in the snow (if that effects you), because the sway bars are a tad stiff, especially getting on to hard packed snow with the amount of understeer and stuff, not too safe, but great car

My car has recently strared to squeal/screach when I break. It's not all the time, mostly when I am in traffic. I assumed I needed break pads, so I had a friend check them, and they are fine. She assumed I have a "hard spot" in the pad. Could this be the cause? What else could it be? (link)
Check if the brake fluid went bad, sometimes if your car sits around for a while the brake fluid seperates, and all the oils in it go to the top, making a squealing noise when you stop, especially in traffic when its stop and go, because its very jotty.
