Is it wrong to cry if your dog died and you've known her since you were a toddler? My friends would think it's silly, and when you think about it, it kind of is. Does anybody else think it's silly? (link)
Of course not! Cry away. Your dog was your best friend, and don't you worry about your friends thinking it is silly. If they have pets, then they will go through the same thing. I have two guinea pigs, and when they die, I will cry myself a little river, so don't worry about being sad about your dog.

If I were going to get a cat or dog, I'd go to an animal shelter or pound or something else like that. But I'm not getting a cat or dog I want to get a guinea pig. Does anyone know of a place where I could get one that NEEDS a home (other than an ordinary pet store?)

Well go to any full-blown petstore like Petsmart or Petco. If they sell fish and mice, they probably sell guinea pigs. Before you go, however, read up on healthy guinea pigs, and make sure you don't get one that's sick.
