I'm not sure if cats are naturally friendly with humans, or is it that they just believe we're other cats as well? Possibly their foster mother? (I have a cat who was a foster mother to one of my kittens who is now grown.)

I once read in a book saying they believed we were just bigger odd-looking cats. I found that interesting, because my kitten treats me as if I were his mother. He comes to me for comfort and puts his paw on my face when I hold him (: (link)
well no i dont think they look at you as another cat but as theirs. If i cat rubs up against you their basically saying your mine.
i guess we'll never really know what they think of us.

My boyfriend is thinking about getting another dog, and if it's a female, and him and I were thinking about the name Sasha.

Sasha was also the name of my cat who died a few years ago. My mother says it's bad luck to name animals after another but I think it's sort of an honor, and I love the name. Is it heartless to do that? (link)
well when my dog died we were got another dog and we were going to call her the same name and started to train her but i found that everytime i said the name i was reminded of my sadness. so we changed the name.

Hi, I have had 30 plus years experience in horse activities, this is where my talent is. I have given lessons off and on over the last year, but now I'd like to make a living at it. However, I need to have a steady reliable income at the same time due to the amount of bills I have to pay, and the care of my farm and animals. What are some unique marketing ideas to target young and adult riders so I can get at least 4 lessons lined up a day? I live 30 minutes from a larger city and there are small towns scattered throughout the area. In this enconomy would people spend $30.00 a week on what most would call recreation? (link)
well i live in Australia and being a young 14 year old girl. What should attract young girls is a price that they can talk to perents into. So not to high. And add in that they put the equitment on the horse and groom and feed them after? thats what would attract me :) hope it helps

We rescued 2 new born kittens in fall, the on was infested with fleas. It has been fixed and had its shots, but it has tapeworm that no over the counter medicine has been able to get rid off. I work in a Pharmacy, what anti-biotic would the vet prescribe for the 8lb cat to get rid of tape worm? thanks for your time. (link)
you'll have to ask the vet but the first thing that popped into my head was vinagar ?? idk but if it doesnt go away the only thing is to operate....:(

Hi, 21f here.

Getting right to it, there's this kitten. She's really skinny (yes, it's a she), slightly dirty, and couldn't possibly be more than 8 months old. She's a long-hair with tabby coloring, and she's REALLY CUTE. She keeps finding me, but I fed her a couple times, and I know that's why.
But that's the problem, she keeps finding me. I've come across a few cats who had been missing from their owners for a day or two, and returned them safe and sound. This is the only time I've had a stray come up to me 3 times. She has no collar.

I adore cats, and it hurts me to see an animal so mistreated, or so lost. So my question is, I suppose, what do I do?

*I live in an apartment complex. I don't want to just get her to go away, it looks like she needs some taking care of.

*Along those lines, I have a COMPLETELY INDOOR cat. Can't get her out the door if I try. She's also never been sick. I'm worried if I were to take this cat in and call the Humane Society, that it would make my cat sick, and then I'd have hundreds in vet bills.

I dunno, what do you guys think i should do? I see this kitten almost every day when I come home from wherever, like it's just waiting for me. To save it? Feed it? It tried to walk through my door today, but I stopped it. Blah.

Opinions? (link)
ok you should take it to the vet and see if it has a microchip, if not adopt it :)
