So recently, i had to put my shih tzu to sleep. and my mom told me i could get another dog. Now i want a medium sized dog, who doesn't shed too much. But im lost on the type of breed to get. I had an australian shepherd, or a basenji. But i'm not quite sure, any suggestions?

I agree with her below. I have a Yorkshire Terrior and she is the best dog I have ever had. Also, my dad has a Chocolate Lab and she is the sweetest dog you could ever want. Their very protective and they are trained easily.
