How come one best friend can like another best friend more than one you have known longer?

Hey!
Sometimes after you've known a person for a long time and you've been friends with them for a long time sometime you both just grow apart. It's normal. It's not a matter of whether or not you like one best friend more than the other. Sometimes you ahve more in common with one than the other or you've grown apart from the one you were once really close with and have known for a longer period of time. Try and talk to your best friend and tell him/her how you feel. Most likely you can rekindle that friendship and understand everything. Good luck!

Well I have this friend at my new school and she would always say hi and talk to me in the halls but now she hangs out with these 2 girls that are mostly popular, because she had a fight with her other friend [which she is my friend, too] ,and now she never really talks to me the way she used to. Plus she really never notices me it makes me feel really left out. why doesn't she talk to much anymore? (link)

Hey!
She might feel as if you aren't her friend because you are friends with the other friend who she got into a fight with. I think that next time you see her say hi to her and talk to her and ask her how she is and all that. Then if she doesn't talk to you still ask her why she's acting that way towards you and maybe you'll figure things out. Maybe it's all a big misunderstanding. I hope I helped!

Well honestly I don't think they were your real friends. If they were willing to get up and just leave you like that for no reason then they weren't. I don't think that you should waste your time in trying to get them back. You should find new friends, better friends. You're better off and you cna make real, true friends that won't ditch you. My best friend "Cara" is honest. A little too honest. In that sort of brutal way. She tells everyone the truth, but she does it in such a mean way. Me, Cara, & our other friend "Kandi" all went shopping one weekend for swimsuits. I tried on a bikini, & Kandi said I looked great, but that I should get a blue one instead of a pink one. Cara, on the other hand, said that it made me look chubby (even though I'm super thin) & that I should get a one-piece, like she is. Later that day, she criticized me & Kandi bcuz we were pigging out on pizza, while she only ate a salad. Another weekend, me, Kandi, & Cara went to see The Stepford Wives. On our way to Kandi's house, Cara was whining the whole way there. Even Kandi's mom agreed that Cara is a pain in the @$$. I have to see Cara again on Friday. What should I do if she's bitchy to me & Kandi again? (link)

Hey!
I have a friend who is a lot like your friend. Have you tried talking to her? When my friend was always brutally honest in a mean way I told her how I felt. I told her that I didn't like the way she said things and that I would appreciate it if she was nicer about things and that it hurt my feelings. After talking to her she'll see how she acts and most liekly she'll change and not say those things. And if she doesn't change and she isn't nicer to you then she just might not be a true friend (sorry to say that). Well I hope I helped!
