i love giving advice. i have been giving advice to people all my life. my friends ask me for it all the time and they appreciate my advice. even my older sister asks me for advice too and takes it.
i have lived in new england my whole life and i love it here. i have a bunch of friends and i love them all. my life would pretty much be over if i didn't have them in it.

My friend is going to NY for college this year and I realized I really like him. I get really nervous around him, but I don't know if I should tell him or just leave it alone. I am going to miss him so much. (link)

you should definitely tell him. but, if you are too nervous then call him while he's away and ask to hang out while he's on vacation. if you dont think that he has feelings for you, don't let it stop you from being friends with him.

awhile ago i went out with this girls ex-boyfriend. now everytime she see's me she calls me a fat whore // slut. i'm no where near fat and i never even say anything back to her. how can i make it stop or just ignore her.

she probably called you those names because she was jealous-it happens alot. she will eventually stop since she thinks that it doesn't bother you

I have two best friends that I've been hanging out with all summer A LOT. One takes me with her family everywhere and for the last year I've spent my life at her house.
My other friend takes me to theme parks, pays for my food, and takes me lots of other places.
Another friend takes me to pro baseball games a lot.
I never have my friends over (cuz i live in the middle of the woods and there's nothing to do at my house) and I never take them places.
I feel like its my turn to do something really fun, but I don't know what to do.
I have a ginormous basement... and my room has nothing to do in it.. so i usually use the basement.
I was thinking a scary movie sleepover with the ring movies and the grudge (b/c I'm most likely taking them to the grudge 2 for my bday).
Is there anything else that would be fun to take them to? And what are some fun ideas to do when my friends are over?

watching movies with your friends is a great idea. also, play board games or cards with them. you're never too old to do that-also you can play fun kid games for a laugh. bake something with them. if you think your house is too boring, then go out with them-like what they do: take them to a concert, go to the movie theater with them!

My bestfriend has a ton of guy friends. Sometimes I feel left out of all their conversations and dont know how to get in the conversation too. I have some guy friends but I always end up liking them for more that a friend and then i get to nervose around them so I only talk to them online...not in person...any tips? (link)

one thing you can do is pretend they're girls-tell them things that you would tell your friends that are girls-not things that are girl-related but you know. laugh and smile around them and even if they don't talk to you don't let it get to you.

My two best friends just recently started drinking over the summer. I have been away and just found out about this recently. I however, dont want to start drinking they are, I think it is pretty pointless and I dont need alcohol to have a good time. I KNOW that I am able to say no if I am put into a pressuring situation by them, but I am afraid our friendship isnt the same anymore. It seems like they want to move on to bigger and better things, but they truly are my best friends in the world. What do I do? 15/f (link)

congrats that you don't want to drink with them. if you are willing to give up your friends to not drink, then you are a great person. make some new friends if they think that you have to drink to be friends with them.

I just recently moved to a new town a few weeks ago. I started school today and I talked to a view people but didn't seem to meet anyone friendly. Is there a good way to make new friends at a new school? the school is actually really small compared to my old school. Any help is appreciated thank you. (link)

your her role model. she wants to be just like you. i have friends that do this to me and if it gets to me, i just ask them to stop and they're still my friend. so if if bothers you, you can ask her to stop.
