So if he's shy, does he actually come up to you and talk to you? Do you find him looking at you? Look for hints you would give if you were too shy to tell someone you like them.

one of my bestfriends just called me to tell me that like one of my bestesteset friends house is on fire..she knew this because her dad is a firefighter..no one knows where my friend is and im startin to freak out..we're doing the paper together and im hoping shes ok.would it be nosey to drive over there?

my friend always steals my friends. like just recently i started talking to this girl anna* and she goes and starts talking to her and they are good friends..well sorta and it pisses me off! and last year i met this guy jack* and we became BEST friends (still are) and whoa hey, shes friends with him all of a sudden! wow! what a surprise..not! ugh i know i sound selfish but it annoys me..like she has to have everythign i have and its starting to get to me! plz help (link)

I think maybe she feels it would start a conflict if they didnt like eachother. You usually hear problems about people whose friends DONT like eachother. Just think of it this way, your friends like eachother, they arent going to try to tear you apart. I would try and look on the brigthside, and if that doesnt help the least bit, talk to your friend about. Maybe she'll understand. Just dont yell at her, then she'll think your being too possesive. Which your not.

I have this friend who is incredibly paranoid, particularly about me likeing his girlfriend or his girlfriend liking me. I;ve assured him this is not the case, and so has his girlfriend, and it causes him deep psychological trauma to see us in the same room even talking now. And I was talking to his girlfriend, and he walks into the room, and I make a joke about only wanting a pen, and he takes it as an insult, and now won't talk to me. He refuses to be my friend anymore, and threatened my teeth!...I have no idea what to do....please help me!!

well, i dont know, but...it seems like your friend isnt being a true one. Maybe he's just a little over protective...some people get that way. I suggest you have a "buddy-to-buddy" talk with him and tell him, you dont like his girlfriend, your just friends, and you want to be a good friend. I mean, shes your friends gf!! you should be able to talk to her...plus, you dont want your friend to think you hate her. Maybe, if you actually talk to your friend it will make things better. If it doesnt, I wouldnt worry...you can find better freinds. friends that TRUST.

Is Emily new? That may be the reason. IF your friends forget about you, or dont hang out with you, its their loss. And if they cant see what a great friend you are, they arent a true friend. Try making friends with Emily too. Put your opinion in and DONT BE SHY! If your too shy to say something, then no one will be able to say something back to you.

Im 13 years old and I just started jr. high. I'm in the 7th grade. The problem is that I have no friends and I don't know how to make any. I've tried to be social, but no one seems to want to talk to me. I'm in all honors classes, and the girls in the honors classes are all rich and white and popular. I don't really like them anyway, but i have every class with them. Thankfully, i have 1 really good friend I met this year. She dosnt have friends, either. How can I make friends? Try to talk to people at places other than class. (since you dont like them) Your a smart girl to be in honor classes, use your smarts for other reasons too! Start complimenting people and starting small-talk conversations. Mainly, just be yourself. Whatever you do, NEVER change yourself to make friends. Not only will it not work, if it does they wont like you for you, and you will be comletly miserable! JUst be friendly, but not overly friendly. People like that kinda scare people. Ask some nice-looking people if you can eat lunch with them. I hope i helped!

okay, one of my kinda close guy friends [who likes me more than a friend] bought me a necklace for xmas... the thing is, he "forgot" to take off the price tag which was stuck on underneath the box.. it was $129.. the price tag was also inside the box kinda hidden under the necklace plate. obviously he wanted me to see how much it costed? lol what do u guyz think? i dont think he wanted you to see. a lot of guys dont looks underneath where the price tag is located, lol, crazy i know, but they just dont think like that. But, you know, maybe he did want you to see it, but, honestly, i doubt that. Just feel blessed that someone cares enough about you to give you that, thats outside of the family, of course! Give him a big hug and a thank you! A friendly hug, of course, so he doesnt get the wrong idea!
