one of my really good friends (shes 14) has been having sex with this one guy for over a year now. she used to be going out with the guy, and not she's not, but she's still having sex with him. she's been hurt before because of this guy, and i just don't want her to get hurt again or get into a bad situation. she has b.c. but sometimes forgets to take it and doesn't read the instructions on how to make up for lost pills. i don't want her to mess up her life at such a young age. any advice on the topic would be great. thx. That's really tough.
Try to talk to her, tell her how concern you are. I'm sure she'll appreciate how caring you are!
Sometimes there isn't anything you really can do though. Just be there for her like you are.
As for the birth control, sometimes it is hard for people to remember to take it. Because to make sure its full effective you've got to take it everyday, the same time everyday. It's tough. Just talk to her. I wish you luck!

I was talking to my friend in a chat room and she
decides to randomly ask me if i have mental issues
because i act childlish sometimes i guess from what i type and she also said because of my age which is 19 after she said that i felt hurt on the verge of tears like i was going to cry am i overreacting? I'm thinking she didn't think before she typed she apologized and said she didn't mean to be rude but it still hurt

Because you can't really tell how a person is online. You may talk to them, but being with them IN person is a different story.
I'd say, start talking to her more maturely then, or not at all if she is like that.
You said she apologized thats nice, I'd ask her why she even mentioned it to begin with. I mean, is she REALLY sorry? Why'd she say it in the first place then?
But she's 14, and your 19, so your the older one. Just I guess don't talk to her the same way you use to.. Be a little more mature I suppose.

Your a serious person, who thinks a lot. Has a lot of thoughts when it comes to emotions.
Like, if you were to pour your heart out to me, I'd say "yeah that was deep."
Something along those lines, it can and cannot be bad. Just depends the way it's giving, and at what I suppose.

So there is this guy that I have liked for the past 5 years (i am 20 now). Me and him dated back in high school (when i was 15) and ended up breaking up because of drama with friends and never getting to see each other. We just started to hang out again about a year and a half ago (as friends) and as soon as i hung out with him again, i fell head over heels for him again. i have already told him how i feel about him and just recently he acted on it and told me a lot of things that i guess he had been holding back. well a lot of drama got started with my mother (i drove an hour and a half to see him knowing i was going to lose my car when i got home because i had no intentions of coming home until the next night) and right as i was getting ready to head home the cops showed up at his house to tell me to go home. i told him that i was completely embarrassed by what she did and he said it was no big deal. but since then, i have tried to call him and when someone picked up his house phone and heard me ask for him ... they hung up and nobody ever called me back. as i was told by my mom (who supposedly spoke with him today) he had told her that he didnt even like me and that he found me annoying and the only reason he wanted me to come see him was because i had a car and money. but some of it doesnt make sense from what he told me and his actions this past weekend. i have cried about this for hours now and dont know how else to deal with it. how do i just let him go when i like him sooooooooooooooooooo much?!?!?! i am so confused as to what im suppose to do at this point and really need help as to what i should do. Hm, Yeah that is weird.
I would say give it a couple days and try to call again.
Do he have facebook//myspace? try to contact him on there and just ask whats going on.
He at least needs to tell you what is up.
Is the car yours that you used or no? Because if it is your car... Your mother can not control you. You are over 18, and legal.
