Q: Why can't I wear foundation? I'll put on a little and blend it in but when you look at my face..it's all fuzzy and then it gets dry..and my face looks worse than it did before. I have tried powder and it worked until my face started to get dry and I can't wear it either. I don't know what to do...
That happens to me sometimes. In the morning before school if my face feels dry like it's going to do that I put on some moisturizer, it usually helps. A really good moisturizer is Pevonia Botanica. You can find it in places like Dillards, Macy's, Filenes, and places like that. Also, your face wash might be drying you out a little.

Q: okay, 2 questions...
1. I straiten my hair , and i wanna look good and everything, but it seems like my hair is thinning day by day, what should i do??

2. Okay all the girls in my school wear Abercombie..and if i don't wear it i feel like a dork.....so if i were to go shopping there, how much would a whole outfit cost....jw...

PLEASE HELP!

Be yourself, don't feel like you have to straigten your hair and wear Abercrombie because everyone else does. Have some individuality.

Your hair probably is thinning or being damaged from the direct heat from the flat iron you use to straighten your hair. There is no "good" way to straigten your hair, it will be damaged no matter what. Try using volumizing shampoo and hair products.

Abercrombie is expensive. I don't know what you consider a "whole outfit" but jeans are about $80, a tee shirt is around $25-30, Regular knit shirts are about $30-50, Sweaters are in the hundreds, and skirts are in the $60-70 region. Cheaper (and cuter if you ask me) alternatives to Abercrombie are Hollister Co. and American Eagle.

Q: Hey you know those little hairs you get on your face, and like when you put powder foundation on, you can tell..well yeah i have them ALL over my face, like when i wash my face you can tell i have hair..even though its blonde..do i shave it off??? Thanks Will rate!!!
NO. Don't shave your face, if you do it once you have to follow up on it, and it will lead to having bumps and stubble on your face like a man. You definitly don't want that. Everyone has hair on their face, it's normal. If it is very noticable when you put on your foundation, you probably are putting too much on.

Q: k, well i have red hair. & im thinking about getting streaks in my hair. or something like that. what would you recommend? i rate high!
Aggh! Red hair is so beautiful by itself, streaks will just take away from the unique-ness of it. So many people would probably kill to have your hair color. If you really want streaks, make sure you make an appointment at an appropriate salon (with red hair, doing streaks at home will be a nightmare...actually doing streaks at home with any color hair is bad). Ask the stylist what she suggests. I definitly go with getting hi-lights (lighter color) and lo-lights (darker color that helps the hi-lights blend in and look natural). I'm not sure what shade of red hair you have, but a strawberry blonde or a black will look good.

Q: ok so i have this really cute skirt, but its BRIGHT orange, i want to dye it black, what type of dye do i use though, and where can i get it, also its 100% cotton if that helps
Why did you buy it if you didn't like the color? Just wondering. To turn the skirt black, go to a craft store in your area and go to the section where there are blank tee shirts and fabric paints, around there they should have fabric die. If you can't find it, try ordering online.

Hi. I'm Sam. I live in a sunny place called Florida. I'm not completley sure if I like it here though. I'm 14, but not the average 14 year old girl. When I grow up I want to be a psychologist (so i'm good with advice) I'm really into music. My favorite bands are: Bloc party, The Decemberists, The New Pornographers, and The Strokes. I also really like art. I'm a published poet, and i'm starting to get into photography. I like the unique things in life, and I try to stand out. Fashion is my forte! If you want to get to know me or see more pictures, feel free to ask for my AIM. =]
