is a turbo straightener good? and is it better than those other ones? also is a turbo a ceramic also? or not? if not, which is better?

sryy lots of questions but hey! i wanna know! P

turbos are good if you have coarse hair or want to straighten your hair extremely fast. the heat power is a lot higher than regular straighteners. and is pretty damaging. all the ceramic does is make your hair shiney ad silky. so if you are thinking about getting a turbo, i suggest a ceramic.

I know I definitely want to get my hair done for school. My natural hair is very very lightly wavy, but only when I towel-dry it. When I blow dry my hair it gets sooo frizzy and I have a very nice conair straightener that I could use but it doesn't really help the frizz.

I want to get my hair wave permed because whenever my hair is wavy it always looks the best.

honestly, i would do it.
it looks good, but a perm wont look like that.
and you say its gets frizzy if you blow dry it.
thats just because its drying your hair out.
the perm will dry it out even more.
and it ruins your hair.


if you want waves like that, use a medium sized curling iron all over and the brush it out with your fingers and mist all over with hair spray. it may take some practice if you arent used to curling your hair, but it will look WAYYY better than a perm.



perms NEVER turn out the way you imagine. i promise!

So i have very curly hair and i just got side bangs and she straightened them very well, i just took a ashower and tried to straighthen them but they are very stiff now and don't look as good as last time..is there any product i can put in my hair that makes straightened hair smooth, silky, and flexible? thnx.

its called Super Skinny Serum by Paul Mitchell. works so well. all you do is use one pump on damp hair and them blow dry it or air dry it and then it makes it all shiney! (:

I have keratosis pilaris and the dermatologist said that laying out in the sun for at least thirty minutes a few times a week would help. I have pale skin and I normally only go tanning in the summer. But where I live, it is getting warm enough so that I can go outside and tan for a little while finally.
I burn easily, so I'm not sure what the best type of sun tan lotion to get.
Does anyone know of a good sun tan lotion for my skin type?

wow. well first off thanks for the whole laying out in the sun idea cause i have it bad and my dermatologist said to use this medicine, but it doesnt work... so thanks for that. and i know of a greatttt sun tan lotion. and its not greasy. its by Aveeno and its called active naturals continuous protection sunblock lotion. they have it for body and face. its spf 30 and i dont know how but it makes you skin naturally glow. (no self tanners though. i checked) its amazing. ill put a link to a picture of it on here so youll know what to look for in wal-mart or w/e.... (: hope i helped...

I'm thinking of getting my belly button pierced and my ear pierced in the middle like in this pic:

So i'm just wondering how painful will it be?

belly button = feel terrible but so worth it

middle of ear = about the same as it feels to get your cartilage peirced. maybe a tiny bit worse because the cartilage there is thicker.

i love abercrombie and hollister. well today at school my friend told me that there was going to be another store thats coming out made by abercrombie called Concept 5. she didnt know anything else about it and i googled it and didnt find anything on it, and well does anyone on here have any information at all about the store? thanks in advance!

i just thought you should all know;

1 - they will not release the information until after 2007

2 - they arent going to call it "Concept 5". Its their 5th concept. Like, their 5th idea.. hahha just thought you should know.

Anyways is probably going to be around the same prices as Hollister, maybe a tiny bit more...

hey, well right now i dress sorta like everyone else in the world. hollister, ecko, abercrombie, you know those famous brands. i would like to start dressing differently. like leggings, ballet flats, chunky necklaces, and other trendy items. im afraid of the reaction my friends will have. i know i should just be myself and not care what others think. its hard tho.

honestly, if you start the trend, people may look at you in a weird way at first, but soon they will pick up the idea. i vote you do it. we need more fashionista's in the world.

I have a pair of skinny jeans that are just blue jean. I have a couple shirts I got over the weekend and i need to know which shirt looks the best with these jeans.

Shirts I have :

-Pink shirt with cupcakes cookies and lolipops on it.
-Navy blue shirt with new oreleans saints symbols on it and a humming bird or each of the top corners.
-An Alicine wonderland shirt where she is walking through the forest
-A pink and white striped shirt that has half sleeves.

pink and white stripes. you dont want to put to much into the outfit. but if you are going with skinny jeans (which are sorta high fashion) then you need to follow those same standards.

also consider a spiked heel and/or pizza toed shoe for a high fashion feel or a flat for an urban/80's vibe.

Hey, does getting your cartilage pierced hurt? If i were to get mine done, I would go to Piercing Pagoda, where they use a gun. Also, I might have to take it out after about 4 or 5 weeks to play softball, but I would put it back in right away. Would it close up after being outs for about 3 hours? Thanks a lot!

i personally dont have my cartilage pierced but manymanymany friends of mine have had it done. they say it doesnt hurt much more than getting a standard ear piercing. good chose with the gun.just make sure everything is sterile. and the hole may close up a tiny tiny bit but it would be easy to put the ring back in. make sure you keep everything clean. :)
