Q: Is there any way to take off the french tip nails you have done without just tearing them off.
B/C when I just tear them off it usually ends up making my real nail tear in the long run.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Any remedys, like soaking in hot water.

Pour some acetone nail polish remover in a bowl and soak your fingers in it, it usually takes about 2 hours, and after a while they will feel all rubbery and you can push them off. Hope this helped!

Q: when i straighten my hair (on a daily basis), after a long day it flips and waves at the bottom because i tuck my hair behind my ears pretty often. but my birthday is coming up and i can ask for a chi straightener. i was wondering if they really are worth the money and would prevent my hair from "unstraightening" during the day? also, any recommendations as to which one i should get (in the chi line) would be helpful. I have a chi. It works REALLY well, and I totally recommend it. However, it doesn't really prevent your hair from becoming wavy. If you don't it to do that just like don't put your hair behind your ears, but make sure to keep it out of your face. The chi straightener only straightens very well, is better for your hair, has ceramic plates, basically it gives you less split ends and straightens amazingly well.

Q: Alright i'm a guy i tried to straighten my hair for the first time and it didnt quite go so well. one thing is i totally dont know how to do it. i used my mom's and it was clip on type thingy. i noticed it gets warm and then really hot to help straighten my hair. so do i put my hair between the hot metal bar and clip and how long do i keep my hair between it? i want my hair to be straight going down my forehead andi dont want it to curl up or in any other direction just straight down because lateron when my hair gets longer im gonna have an Emo hairstyle. so basically im a simple guy asking a simple question on how you straighten your hair. girls you can tell me every bit of detail on how you do this stuff and guys that straighten their hair tell me some tips. lol

Yes, you put your hair between the hot plates. You don't really need to have it in a certain time, just slowly move the straightener down to the ends of your hair and it should come out straight.
Its supposed to get hot so your hair gets straight and stays until you wash your hair. What you do is you grab a small section of your hair and you might wanna comb the section first. Then you take the straightener and put your hair between the two plates. Close the plates and slowly move it all the way down. Then your hair should be straight.

Q: is blowdrying your hair better or worse than straightning it? i take showers every other day and i blowdry it, so it keeps it nice and straight which works. i don't know if i'm damaging my hair though. am i? is blowdrying your hair bad for it? thankss.!

Blow drying your hair can be bad because of the heat as well as a straightner. You can get split ends faster from both. So its best to let your hair air dry, and if you want it straight buy a heat protecting spray and then straighten your hair. Hope I helped!

Q: i have kinda of curly frizzy hair and i straighen it everyday. Im going to florida in april and im not gunna have time to strighen my hair everytime i take a shower. is there antying, such as shampoo, conditioner, cream, spray, anything that would make my hair straight, if not just a little straight? also is there anything i can put in my hair when its wet that when it drys there would be pretty curls and not fizzy ones and can withstand the heat?

Guess what... I have your answer!! There is this amazing shampoo, called Herbal Essances Dangerously Straight. No, I haven't used it, but my friend used it (very thick, frizzy, kind of curly hair) and on the first use it really did work, she had just straightened it a tiny bit after that. But she barely had to straighten it.

Q: My clothes are pretty plain. I wear jeans pretty much all the time, and usually a single colored shirt or a henley type shirt with a different colored cami underneath. I don't really have any accessories so I don't bother with that. I mean I'm sure I don't look like a fashion disaster or anything but nothing I wear is really special or exciting.
I am getting bored at how plain my clothes are. I don't like to stand out too much so I guess that's why they are so plain. I don't even know where to begin with accessories, and I've heard plenty of times they make the outfit but I'm clueless.
Where should I shop to find clothes not so boring but not to stand out too much, and that isn't over-the-top expenisive? What kind of accessories should I look for and where? Should I shop for entire outfits or just find tops, bottoms, and accessories here and there and put them together?

Wash your hair, ring it out with a towel. Then when its NOT dripping, spray some hair spray into it and curl your hair. You should use a big iron because big loose curls are so cute now. Then after you curl it put in some moose so its not frizzy and give it some volume. :) Then hair spray it one more time. This should make it stay. Hope I helped!

Well if you don't want to look gothish, for your top you should avoid dark shades of red and stuff. And no black tops either. I think maybe if you had a pink shade for the color it would look good without looking goth. Hope I helped

Take scissors and cut a hole whatever size you want, and then to make it look more natural take a razor and rub the blades on the edges of the rips. :) Hope I helped.

Q: i came home from vacation to find my scalp very dry, crusty, and nasty!! I haven't used any new products on it,and i use conditioner. My family and i spent the weekend at a water park where the water had so much chlorine in it, it was green and hurt your eyes a lot. Could this be the cause of the dry skin? And how can i get rid of it very quickly without buying special shampoo? And if this is not the cause of it, what else could it be? Thanks for all your help, I rate!!

Hey I definatly recommend Head and Shoulders for shampoo. It works excellent, it moistens your scalp and gets rid of the dandruff. I know you didn't want to go out and get special shampoo but its not too much money and you can get it anywhere. :) Hope I helped.

Q: I'm wondering what color I should dye my hair. I dyed my hair black about 4 months ago. My original color is dark brown and my skin is like caramel. My hair goes a little past half of my back. Alright, I would go with dark shades of the colors you suggested. The darker colors should compliment your skintone. Dont go crazy with them though, definatly get dark and subtle shades. Hope I helped.

Q: Not sure if this is in the right category, sorry if its not!
So I'm 13/f, and I've been wanting a lip ring for about a year and a half. All my friends that are my age hate lip rings (except one) and my grandma (whom I live with) said I can't get one until I'm 18. Well I've been researching about it, like the risks, and side effects and stuff. I've absolutely decided I will NOT do it unless the materials are sterilized (my OLDER friends got their friends to do it with safety pins) But I was researching, like the different types, because I haven't decided on that either. I currently wear a fake one (lame, I know) just to get used to it and such. (Its the hoop that goes around your lip) Anyway though I was wondering if anyone knows a site that has details on different types of lip rings? I searched google, but all I got was mostly stores. I'm trying to get as much research and side effects and such done so I can make a convincing argument. My birthday's the 23rd, and I was hoping to try and talk my grandma into letting me get a lip ring for then.
I'm wondering about a lip ring segment, lip hugger, and a few more.

Hey, no matter how sterilized anything is can't prevent infections or anything. Like the person below me said, you wont die or anything but it can still be dangerous. Also, 13 is a pretty young age to wear a lip ring.. but if you really want one, keep researching and go for it.

You should get layers. =] Those always look nice. And I would get highlights instead of lowlights, like a blondish color. I have light brown hair also with blondish highlights and I get a lot of compliments. :) Hope I helped
