Alright, here is my problem, i am a 'tomboy' and i wanted to change my clothing style. I think that i would have some potential to actually look like a pretty 'preppy chick', but thats just my opinion, the thing is, i never put any time into it, and i was thinkin, maybe if i tried, i could see how it goes.
I have an issue though, i dont know what types of clothes to get, my friend suggested Hollister and i was going to take that into consideration. I just wanted to know, types of shirts, (i know the double layer is quite popular at my school), pants, skirts, shoes, everything! So, if you have any suggestions about ANYTHING being more of a girly girl without changing my personality and just my style of clothing, that would be great =). Thanks. (link)

i suggest that you try out American Eagle, Aeropostale and Pac Sun. American Eagle is like a really preppy look, real cute. Aeroposstale is kind of like American Eagle and is preppy to, although not as preppy. Pac Sun is a mixture of preppy and like almost a kind of skater look. you can find the brands bilabong, roxy, volcom, oneil, etc. there. if you are going for a peally preppy look i suggest you choose your friends suggested holliter or American Eagle or even aeropostale. one other place you could go would be forever 21. when shopping for more girly clothes, you dont always want to go with thte more comfortable baggy thigns, you want the clothes that are not to tight, to were they are uncomfortable but clothes that are moderately comfy and very cute at the same time. my favorite thign right now is clogs oe cute preppy flats [for shoes during the summer try old navy flip flops, every color is cute]sweaters, polos and henleys [for shirts]and a mixture of aero jeans and ae jeans [ during the summer bermuda or short plaid shorts are always a must] another possibility of bottoms is skirts wtih leggies. as far as accesories go, you could never go wrong with pearls or long beads and matching earings that match your outfits. i had fun answering your question and i hope that i was of assistance to you.

personally, with me being a 14 year old skinny girl, no i wouldnt wear one unless i had to. but if you are a teen that is a little on the bigger side and is uncomfortable with people seeing your stomach, then i wuold say go to a high- fashion store like pac sun or american eagle and get yourself a cute tankini or 1 peice that looks good on you and flaunt it. chances are everyone will love it.
