Hello! I have a pair of dark blue jeans that I really want to punk out. I don't have a sewing machine but I have a few scraps of fabric I'd love to add, and I want to kinda rip it up and make the holes look natural. Any ideas? Links to sites and/or pictures that would help inspire would be greatly appreciated. Oh- the wierder designs and patterns, the better. Just saying..punk isn't all about baggy pants and chains and stuff...what you'll probably wanna do is sew them skin tight, and add band patches and things. Chains I guess aren't too bad unless you over do it. I don't know if adding studs will make it 'punk', but who knows haha. That's basically all i can really say about thinnnnngs

My hair is so boring and I was wondering how can i make hair wavy without buying anything from the stores?? Anything i can do/use?? Rate 5's for first 6 people if it works. (link)

OK what I do is i twist my hair in spirals (i have like hairspray in my hair n stuff before I do this) and then I use a straightener and press down on it and it was mak it crimpy/wavy and it works really good because my hair wont hold anything from color to curls but this works for me. Just try it and see if it works.

ehh..I don't use liquid often but I use Rimmel London and its like a pressed powder and it works VERY good. If you want the liquid though, just go for the top brand stuff (revlon,Maybeline (sp?)..etc..)

hi. ok im going into 7th grade and i NEED a straightener. like you dont understand how hott i look when i use one (at my cousins house) and how GROSS i look when i dont! so the problem is, i asked my mom if i could buy one-WITH MY OWN MONEY and she was like no! its dangerous and you dont need it! i was like "im very responsible when i use them at *cousins name*'s house!" she was like well see ill talk to your father! so if they says no, what are some things that i could say so that they would reconsider?! Well if they won't let you use a straightener, then theres one more thing that you could do if you wanted to without disobeying them.
What I tried once was after i got out of the shower, I put in some mousse and then using a paddle brusah, dried it straight. My hair was even striaghter than when I straighten it with an iron!!
If you really wanna use the straightener, go to the hairdressers and do whatever with your hair then ask about striaghteners. Then say that your mom thinks they ruin your hair and the hairdresser will probably say it won't ruin your hair if you get the right striaghtener becaus my hairdresser usually striaghtened mine after she cut it. Then have the hairdresser talk to your mom. Hope this helps!!

Yesterday I had my first attempt at scrunching my hair. I used the product 'Sprunch' by Aussie, but I'm not so sure I did it right. I got out of the shower, and dried my hair until it was just damp, and not soaking wet. Then I sprayed in the stuff and scrunched itttt. It only took like 8 minutes, so do you guys think I went to fast and wasn't patient enough or something? Because my hair didn't come out really scrunched by the time it dried, it was just likee my natural wavy hair, but I want it scrunched. Can anyone who scrunches their hair tell me how long to scrunch it for, and maybe some other tips to get it looking really good. I would like to wear my hair to school tmorrow scrunched, but I need to know the right way to do it first.

I use the same stuff too but it doesn't work for me. Probably because I have thickish hair. What my sister does though is she puts in a gel when her hairs still wet, then she scrunches then she put si nthe spray and scrunches again. Then she puts it into a messy, loose bun at the top of her head then takes it out after like 20 minutes.If you need anymroe help feel free to drop one in my inbox!

I have very fine hair. It's about shoulder length and I have lots of layers and bangs (its blonde too by the way) The problem is it's super straight and kinda thin so when I roll it to make it look thicker in the morning it always ends up fallin down and looking icky. haha. what could i do to help my hair hold the curl, who should i get a special hair cut...if so what kind? Well my hair doesn't hold a curl AT ALL so what i do is i take a shower the night before, then put volumizing mousse or just mousse in general in, then blow dry it or let it dry, then curl your hair and go to sleep with it. In the morning it should have like nice waves and curls and it looks really good because my hair is really thick but it doesn't make it look that way. The same should work with thin hair. oh yeah, i have bangs too. i cut them so i could do the side angle bang thing, but it doesn't stay. is there any good kind of hair product that could train them to stay on the side? if u have an idea, please tell me the name and the cost. thanks so much! (link)

My hair is exactly the same. Only theyre long layers.Here are some things you can do with it:
`Half ponytail
`full ponytail
`put mousse in after a shower,wait for your hair to dry, curl it and sleep with it in and it'll be wicked nice waves in the morning.
`obv. straighten it lol
`scrunch it
as for the bangs, i didnt have a problem with that but put your hair on a sidepart and your bangs should go to the side too. If not, put a metal clip in like when you're around the house and whe nyou go to sleep so it gets trained to go to that side.

Usually I get my hair dyed and highlighted blonde professionally. But now I want to dye my hair a medium brown and I was wondering if the hair dye boxes at the store did a fairly good job at it? Is it even that possible to screw up on brown? If you have used anything in particular that you've tried and it works, could you please tell me the brand and price, etc? I've use hair dye kits PLENTY of times before, but i always used blonde (which looked horrible) and was just wondering if brown worked. Thanks. (link)

Yeah brown worked for me..it didnt work too bad at all either! well all i can say for a brand of coloring..most of them usually work..well the natural instincts didnt work too well on me..it said it'd come out within like 30 washes and it came out in 2 for me. So I wouldnt go with that lol..good luck!

When i go to myrtle beach for the summer, i usually go to a hair salon and get the half cornrows. those usually stay in for like a month but its very hard to take care of.

Last year I dyed my hair black and i've kept it black since then. I am now trying to get my hair back to a more natural color: dark brown-light brown. I tried Herbal Essences Dye.. It was called Iced Bronze or something like that.
It just dyed my roots brown and make the black in my hair a really odd color.
If anyone knows a good brand and/or color of dye that will completely cover black, let me know!!

it would probably help dye it or bleach it blonde first, that way the color you buy will come out pretty much the same color. A lot of dye works..but i usually go with the one that has the best picture and most updated picture on the front lol.

The nerves in my foot really hurt! I am going to get surgery on it soon. However, I am wondering what kind of shoes I can buy to prevent this from happening again. This is my 3rd foot surgery. What are some brand name shoes that are comfortable and won't kill your feet? I am currently using Softwalk..they help a little..any more ideas? Thanks (link)

just go get some really supportive shoes..my ankles are weird and bend sorta inward and so my mom told me to get the skateboarding type shoes (etnies, DC's) because they offer a lot of support because thats wht skaters use while skating. or you can get like the gel sole things..those look really comfy lol but it really depends on what you mean by nerves..like where in your foot

Ok i know i just did something really stupid but i was bored so i put on some fake nail with nail glue and i took one off and like its really nasty looking on my real nail the glue is and i cant get the glue off my real nail how can i do this?

ok uhh try some nail polish remover (i know everyones saying that) and if that doesn't work, soak it in really hot water and if THAT doesn't work, i'd scrub it to death lol.
