k so i need advice on my first day outfit. i was thinking of just wearing a tank top, jeans, and maybe some bangles or a cute necklace.
what do you think? it's suppoed to be like 85 degrees and tanks can be two fingers haha i looked it up beforehand to make sure.

i think it sounds really cute. if your tanktop basically plain you can even add those long with pearls from claires (where you wrap them around your neck so it almost looks like two necklaces)
but i really like the idea :]
I have brown hair, medium thickness...and curly. Not like madly curly..but it isn't wavy either.
I'm going to the hairdressers tomorrow..and I don't know what to do with my hair!
I mean I straighten it..but I want to stop straightening it..

try scrunching it or curling it with an iron. even if you straighten it and put it in a messy bun or half up or put your bangs up so they are like kinda puffy and stick out a little. the bun and half up stuff look good scrunched, or curled with an iron, or even left the way it is. side bangs or straight bangs on the little longer side look really good (like rihannas) hope i helped

If I had to pick my 5 best features, I think they would be this:

3) uh, i'm not good with the eye thing but try like mascara and eyeliner, not too much. but dont ask me about eye shadow
4) shorts and skirts (not skimpy) and tight jeans, or sweats (not tight sweats. kinda loose) or skinny jeans with boots like uggs
5) rings and bracelets. i prefer silver. and i would stick to no more than 2 rings on each hand (not counting thumb rings) never wear a ring on your first and ring finger. i think the best "hand jewelry" is..
silver ring on each middle finger (not the same ring )
a real (if your lucky) or fake tiffany co. bracelet or anything dangly like that on one arm
and a hair elastic. hah i think it looks good.
a normal, not dangly or full out bracelet on the other hand.
and possibly a thumb ring.

i need to get a new straightener. does anybody know of a good straightener that i can get for around $40.. or less at sally beauty supply? even at walmart. i want one that works really good. price & name would be great. i know that chi's work really good, but they're too pricey & i have to spend my own money i don't really wanna spend that much. thanks!

blond might be a little to light for your hair (your the brunette right? lol) i think carmel or a different shade of brown or an auburn would look good. hope i helped (:

I can't wait to start high school! I'm a fashionable girl, but I want to vamp up and mature my style a bit for a new look. Any tips on whats in, cheap steals, or anything you just personally love? I usually put my own spin on things with funky shoes or belts, but my styles getting a bit old.
Please do not suggest Hollister, Abercrombie, or skinny jeans as a style.
like the other girl said, i love layers. 1 or 2 camis and a shirt. perfect combination.
also, if you go to claires, they have really bright jewelry, like thick earrings and necklaces with bright colors. add those to any not-to-out-there out fits.

to get involved with acting or modeling?
well if you've never done either, start out small...i've never modeled but i act.
i just do it at a small theater in my town.
after you get some experience, see if you can find an agent.
and by experience i mean, actually have done the shows.
i dont know any agents, but i know they're the ones that find out where the auditions are and what theyre for.
i also know that theyre expensive.
i dont know if they do both modeling and acting through the same agent.
but make sure you kinda know what you're doing, with acting, before you get an agent. sorry i cant tell you much about modeling.

i've always wanted to wear black nail polish but i dont have it lol. emily osment on hannah montana can really pull it off. i think that
a) goth is a stereotype and dont let other people judge you and
b) just dress it up with girly or whatever kind of clothes you wear.

idk if i would die it, but maybe some auburn like reddish brown highlights would look good. (not the firetruck red, or orang, more like a natural red)
I am currently working as a hostess for a "up-class family dining restaurant." I am required to wear my hair off my face, but I am looking for something more exciting than a simple ponytail. I have very long hair (between the bust and the bellybutton) that is thin and blond. I've tried parting it to the side and doing a low, side ponytail, but I just want to try something different. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thank you-

do a smooth, tight bun in the middle or towards the top of your head

i dont think their horrible..but like the other girls said, make sure they're on the longer side. also, i think swept aside bangs would look good. but i dont think it would look bad if you got them straight across if they're longer. (:
I go to the pool alot, and I know this is going to sound really stupid, but I don't like to go in the pool because when I do, my makeup gets all runny. I have this "waterproof" mascara thats kind of cheap so it still runs. and I can't find any cheap waterproof eyeliner. I know, your going to say just don't wear makeup. I really like to wear makeup though and I like applying it everyday and it just makes me feel nice, and I want to be able to swim underwater and have fun at the pool without worrying about makeup. So i'm asking, do you think I should invest in this expensive waterpoof eyeliner at Sephora called "Make Up FOrever Aqua Eyes" for $16 and mascara "Tarte Lights, Camera, Splash" for $18? I saw them in cosmogirl. Has anyone ever tried them? You can still answer my question though if you haven't. Thanks!
i think maybe you should try the eyeliner, i've never heard of it. i always thought it didnt exist cuz its going on your eyes so it always wears off. as for mascara, try maybelline great lash water proof. i have it and i really like it. im not sure how well it goes with swimming but im sure its great. its definitely not like $18 for their mascara, its more like 8-10. hope i helped (:
