Hi all, I am a 26 year old Legal Consultant from New Jersey. I have a Law Degree, BA in Political Science, with a minor in Women Studies all from Rutgers University. I have been through many things in my life and dealt with all kinds of people. I open to topics from Spiritual Issues, Pregnancy, Eating Disorders, Friendships, Autoimmune diseases, etc. I am well versed. God loves us DESPITE our sins. God sees all sin the same. Being gay is the same to him as being a murderer or a liar. Sin is Sin and we are all accountable for our sins.

I don't know if this goes here.....but....anyway...
I was listening to Carrie Underwood's song "Jesus Take the Wheel" and i was wondering...
is there an explanation to why people's lives flash before their eyes when something bad is about to happen (like the accident in the song)

I think it isn't so much your life flashing before your eyes, I think it's more all the important people and things in your life come to your thoughts.

i got this book on christianity by miles mcphearson and it says i should get a christian mentor to help me understand the religion more because i just moved i cant ask a friend so i need someone on here who is willing to put up with a very dumb person when it comes to god.please be willing to put up with me for a long time and i want to do it through email so please help!!!!

The key is moderation, not just in drinking but in all things. Jesus wants you to enjoy your life, thus all the scriptures of Joy; however, still living by his rules.
“Everyone that strives for the mastery is temperate in all things” (1 Cor. 9:25)
“Let your moderation be known unto all men” (Phil. 4:5)
I believe it is okay to drink, just not to get drunk.
