hey everyone! I love to give advice and have been told that, when asked, I give good advice! You can come to me with anything, which is a good thing since NOTHING on the face of this earth embarasses me whatsoever... anyway... I'm hoping to be a moderator one of these days... well drop me a note or ask me a question and I'll be glad to help!

OK... I just wanted to see if anyone else has heard of this or knows what it is...
On my upper inner left thigh ther are these really strange marks. They look liek branches and kind of like scars. they are indented into my leg and pruple-ish. I never scarped my leg there or cut it but they look a lot like scars. By indented I mean if you run your finger along it it's like carved into my skin. Does anyone knows what they are, or how they might have got there? They just came up this past 3 months. thanks for ANY comments (link)

yes, i have those too! i think almost every teenager or adult has them... its just where you're growing fast and the skin cant stretch fast enough.. kind of like when you stretch a rubber band too far and it gets all thin and weak. don't worry about it... they'll fade after your growing starts to slow down, but probably wont go away forever, theres no need to be embarassed because yes, everyone has them. LUK!

Ok, well, i'm planning to pierce my belly button next weekend by myself. Wut would be the best way to clean it, and which would be the best way to pierce it? (a needle or a belly button ring)
thank you so much-

Well... I dont think you should be attempting to do it yourself. My mom's a nurse and has had many cases of people getting really nasty infections from doing it themselves... BUT if you must use alot of alcohol, and clean the needle you're piercing it with. A needle is definitely better than a belly button ring because you won't have to try as hard to get it in, reducing irritation. LUCK

18/f here-does anyone know a really good deoderant to use? Not for smell, but to greatly reduce sweating? I have to change my shirts all day because they keep getting wet, it's gross and embarassing. And if no one has found one off the shelf, is a prescription one expensive, do you have to see a doctor (no insurance) or just ask a pharmacist? Deoderants I've tried are secret platinum soft solid, and adidas smart technology. And botox would be too expensive (it's supposed to stop excessive sweating). thanks guys. (link)

i had the exact same problem!!! and i finally found one that works for me... try Sure invisible solid...it's unscented and made for both females and males, so there's a bit more sweat protection there... hope it works for ya!

UGH!! everyday before cheerleadin i always put on loads of deorderant on!! and i put perfume on...but my stunt group is always complaining about someone having B.O.! and i think they are all saying its me!! but i dan never smell anything when they say it smells...and i dont get how it could be me cuz i wear sooo much deoderant and sweet pea perfume. UGH!! its getting soo aggravating....does anyone know of any really good deorderant!!??? and fast!!?? (link)
|
well wearing TOO MUCH deoderant can be just as bad as not wearing enough (trust me, i've had experience) so try not wearing as much next time. And also, the perfume might be reacting with the deoderant to make it smell worse than what it is... so try not using that and see if it helps.
luck!

Well, tell her this, it's sure to work. Walk up to her, sit her down, say it's important.
"mom, you love me right? You're there for me right? Well... I love you too, and I really want you to be here for me now. And not just now, but in the future too... and I'm scared that if you keep smoking like you are, you won't BE there in the future, and that scares me."
luck!
