I'm going to be a junior in high school and I have no idea what I want to major in, where I want to go, or even what I really want in a college. How can I start narrowing down the search and decide where I want to apply??
You don't have to choose a major right away. Most people change their major at least once during college, anyway! If you can answer any of these questions it might help you narrow things down:
Would you prefer small or large classes?
Big city or small college town?
How far from home do you want to be?
What extracurriculars are you interested in (including fraternities/sororities)
Oh, and take the PSAT.
