i'm verrrry good at track.
the problem is i'm a junior in high schoo. i have no time for home work because I'm so sleepy and tired and can never finish it!
like right now. i'm supposed to be at track practice, but i have the most homework i've ever had in my life and my mom is making me go to practice!! i need this advice.
i get home at 4:45
eat which takes 30-40 mins. (sometimes i only eat a snack that will fill me up which is really unhealthy and is bad for athletes, i know.)
do my hw, but i am never done.
i'm getting sleepy at arounf 9:00 and can't keep my eyes open and theyre burning and everything.
my mom won't listen. what do i do??? (link)

if you get tired, eating apple in the morning helps. apple got more caffeine than coffee.
and getting home at 4:45 isn't that bad.. it just depends on your preferred bed time.
if you can't handle sports and school at the same time, then i don't think you should be doing the sports because you gotta have responsibility.
if you're a junior, you should know how to handle this kind of things by now... so i'm kindda surprised that there's so much pressure on you.
and like you said, if you have the track practice but is staying home for homework, you should be doing homework....
and u should make sure to let your teachers know why you may be slacking on homework.

im going to run track this year so i was wondering what all i should do to get ready for it? i know i need to run of course, but what else? thanks for the help! (link)

incrase your stamina and speed. maybe run on a treadmill and let it come. once you run longer and longer you'll get stamina. jump roping can help a little too

i began playing last year and this summer i definately got better.
you need to work on your catching (air ball, grounders, just catching and throwing), batting, running (being fast can definately help), etc.
practice with experienced players can help. so, maybe if you have friends that have played softball for maybe 3 years or more, you should definately ask them to help you.

15. 5"9 160 pounds
ive been running and exercising for most of the summer for at least 1 hour each day AND i ate NOTHING but healthy foods and drank NOTHING but water, with a treat every weekend or so. but i dont feel or see the weight loss..and this week i was so frustrated with lack of results i just ate everything i saw..and then i went out and bought like 3 jumbo ice creams and ate them all..and then i went to walmart and bought and ate a lot and lot of candy (m&ms mostly, hah) and now i feel so FAT! every time i feel my thighs touch i just feel awkward and hateful of my body. (which is totally not healthy. i know)
sooo..do you think I could lose 5 pounds by the time school starts (sept 5. 3 weeks from now.)? That's about 2 pounds a week..i feel like losing 5 pounds will really up my morale to getting my weight goal of 140 pounds by the end of this year. i'll have only 15 pounds to go and 3 months to do it.
oh and what are some exercises i could do to speed up the weight loss? besides running, that is. (link)

food that involve lots of protein can help.
if you eat food that include carb (like sugar), your body's gonna wanna burn that first instead of the fat. so, eat more protein than carb.
food that involve protein are.. chicken..steak... etc (search for more lol)
and if you wanna lose weight as fast you want to, then, eat protein bars or ask a guy at a store called GMC. that's a store for athletic people or people that's trying to lose weight.

I was wondering what running shoes are best to run the track with.
I have Nike Shox, but they really hurt my legs when I run the track with them. However, they are good for running on concrete, like a bike trail. I also have other Nike shoes, but they offer no support. I've heard that asics are good to run in. Should I get them? Or should I get another brand?
Thankss. (link)

if you want comfort while you're running, i think you should buy basketball shoes... maybe like.. jordans or something. they're comfortable and they support your feet to legs.
