I started to babysit for money. But there's this evil little kid that is very young (only 6!!) but is verrry perverted. He watches rated R movies, fastforwarding to sex scenes, and he's always trying to touch my parts. I'm 15!! How gross is that?! I told his parents about it, but they wouldn't believe me. He acts like an angel in front of them I guess. I yell at him and everything, but nothing works!!

if i were you, i would keep tellin the parents when he doesn't then maybe after telling them a few times, they might believe you. something else might be to not let him watch R movies and/or not let him have the remote.
i had a similar problem. my neighbors had boys who were about 7 or 8 and they had a "boob" fettish. and of course it was in the summer when i was in a swimsuit. now i told their parents and they believed me-which is the downside for you.
if worse comes to worse, don't babysit him anymore. apparently he won't listen when you tell him to stop, and his parents are jerks and won't believe you. hope i helped

i have no idea what im going to do with her. do you have any ideas what we could do? also how am i supposed to get her in bed? i have only babysat once..and that was with my sister. im going to babysit from 7 to 11. what time do you think she should go to bed? i just really need some ideas on what we could do. and do you have any tips? also...how much do you think ill get payed for 4 hours? Bedtime-between 8 & 9
Pay- somewhere between $5 & $7 an hour
get to bed- Tell story, tell her something that will make her go to bed. if she says she misses Mommy and Daddy, just tell her "they'll be home when you get up. the quicker you go to bed, the quicker you will get to see them"
Stuff to do- watch TV/Movie, play games, read stories

okay im 14/f.
i started babysitting at the beginning of the school year. the lady who hired me said that she needed someone she would be able to rely on. she pays really good money but recently her hours got changed and i'm working 3:30 to 6:00 when usually i only did 3:30 to 5:00. i don't even get to eat with my family. and when i get home all i wanna do is just go to bed.
the kids are fucked up. they get disciplined but their mother just laughs when she yells at them. they're really spoiled and get their way all the time.
the other day i was watching them and i was swinging on this swing. well their dog attacked me for no reason. when i told the mother she said "oh sometimes you just need to hit him" he even ripped my pants! there's a small hole in the pants and there's a HUGE bruise on my leg from where he bit me.
when i got my paycheck their was no money for the pants that the dog ripped. i'm really sick of them and i wanna quit but i don't know how to say it. if the dog bites me again i'll have no problem but what should i do in the mean time? i was thinking of giving her my two weeks notice but chickened out. what do i say?

sounds like you are between a rock and a hard place, huh? well, i would tell them "Listen, i enjoy babysitting your children and everything," (even though you may not enjoy it) "but some things have come up and i can't babysit these hours any more." if she asks what has come up, tell her you're doing a school sport or you are in some kind of club.
if you don't want to talk to them directly, you can leave them a note one night after babysitting. then they will see it when they get home after you leave.if they question you about it, just say what was in the letter. that something has come up and you can't do those hours anymore.

Across the street from me, an elderly couple sold their house and the people that bought it have two young boys, ages 4 and 7 I believe. They have asked me if I'd like to babysit for them and that's fine with me. I've babysat before but normally I'd do it free of charge. It's come the time where I'm getting older and I need to get money. I'll be driving in a year and my parents aren't going to be paying for my gas and car insurance. What would be a good amout of money to ask for? I don't want to be asking for too much. I'm 15/ female. (link)

hey. the average cost is about $6 or $7. i've been babysitting for two years and i charge $5. it is a good even amount that way they don't have to search for ones and change. i've had a lot of babysitting jobs and i have made a lot of money. last year i made over $500.
