the book Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold

I would like to know what people thought about it.
What is it about
was it good.
please keep in mind that i am only on chapter 3 so please don't spoil the ending =] (link)
lovely bones is a really good book. its really scary though. and sad. but you know, a good cry once in a while is healthy :). enjoy.

I'm in choir and we have this concert this Saturday, and I also have a solo in it. My voie has been cracking a lot lately while I've been singing...I'm not sick.
Is there anything I can do to stop that/fix it.
I would be horrified if that happened during the concert. (link)
ALWAYS warm up your voice. singing without a warm up could badly hurt your voice. drink A LOT of water and tea. with lemon and honey. no milk, sugar or cream. don't drink milk or eat any dairy products until the concert. they make yor voice phlemy. be on voice rest. that means not talking or singing until the concert. and DO NOT whisper. it harms your voice more than talking. and if worse comes to worst, sing in your head voice for the concert. good luck!

My friends say that I flirt with this boy that is only my friend and nothing more. But Im only playing around with him.But my friends think way differently than that. How do I tell them that I dont like him Im only playing around???Its getting really annoying.Help me put some sense into thier heads.THANX!! (link)
well, playing around is pretty much flirting. but hey-who said you have to like someone to flirt with them? flirting is supposed to be fun! tell your friends that you don't like him and you don't notice you're flirting with him.

i wasn't really sure which section to put this in buttt how do you grind? i know how to, but im like totally blankingg. haha (link)
the guy stands behind the girl, holding onto her in some way. the two move to the rhythym of the music sensually. the girl can get into it but it would be quite strange if the guy gets into it. keep that in mind. good luck

I always like to act and dress up like a little kid sometimes (I'm 16!) and sometimes I have this urge to scream or shout I HAVE DOWN SYNDROME =] when I'm outside.

But i was just wondering if it will be offensive? Because I think down syndrom is a mental disability( or correct me if I'm wrong) so it will be offensive to many people? (link)
it could be offensive to some, and not to others. just be careful who you say it around. make sure not to say it in front of people with down syndrome or people with relatives with down syndrome. be very careful about it, it may be a sensitve subject.

i just got a facebook, and when i visit someones profile..i guess i expected it to be kinda like myspace. like theres no comments or anything. is there such things as comments that everyone can see on facebook? or is it just like messages or waht (link)
yes. they're called wall posts. their the same as comments, but you can click on the link that says "wall-to-wall" and see the conversation between two people. you can also send links, videos, and pictures. the person you were looking at just probably doesn't have any wall posts yet. you'll eventually get the hang of it. good luck!

How can I be a little more outgoing? I used to be very, and I am when I go to new places, but at school I'm pretty shy. (link)
i am the same way. just make friends with someone in each of your classes. when people see you talking to other people, they'll think hey-that person must be really fun and easy to talk to. before you know it you'll be friends with everyone!

There are two girls who sit at my table in art. They're pretty cool, and I'd want to talk to them a bit more. How can I start a conversation?

If it matters, theyre kinda above me social-status wise. (link)
girls love funny guys(i know i do). make a joke about something. if that doesn't win them over, compliment them. girls also love compliments. a question i like to use to break the ice with anyone is "so how's life?" it makes people laugh and helps to get to know them. good luck!
