Okay, please don't be too skeptical in responses.
I know without doubt my eyes saw a UFO. I have seen one 4-5 times in my life. 4-5 times this past year.
One was really close in my sight. It was an aircraft, not at all like an airplane. The whole thing reflected bright white light. It was shaped like maybe a rocket ship and it passed from one side of the sky to the other at great speed. It wasn't that high up. Maybe the distance as close to the earth as a helicopter.
Three were very high up in the sky, all different times. They were each bright white dots but they passed the sky too fast to be an airplane. One passed the sky as if it fly as a line segment. For example, it was here | then it was here |
Like it appeared out of nowhere and disappeared into nowhere.
One I saw as a bright white dot passing the sky but there was more weirdness going on that night. I was locked out of my house so I slept in my family's van. I saw the what I saw but later after that I started hearing a loud hovering noise over the van and my house. I was afraid to go out. Afterwards I started feeling a strong sense of fear, more fear than I have ever felt in my life. I had three cats but I never before heard them hissing and making screeching noises before. They were really, really loud. I was so scared I decided to sleep. In the morning, I asked my family if they heard the cats last night and they told me they didn't hear anything. I'll admit, this doesn't really have enough concrete evidence towards a theory of a UFO visit.
The very first sighting I listed above was the most real-like experience because I could see it closely.
My question is what are these UFOs? Are they some sort of aircraft made in this world that hasn't yet been introduced to the whole world to know about? Some private agency hiding their inventions from public view? Are they holograms by the HAARP or whatever? Are they the aliens from the sky that the Bible mentions? Are they demons? Whatever it is, it is by someone, something intelligent. (link)

I've seen the fast white dots before. I've also seen a triangular red one. The fast white dots were the most realistic for me. There were people around and they saw it too. So I wasn't seeing things. The possibilities I consider are:
Aliens
Military/Government testing
Companies that make crafts
And maybe some genius inventor
Whatever it is it's a UFO no matter what's behind it. As long as it's unidentified, it's a UFO.

Like why did they make a bathroom like that. Why not just have stalls?
Isn't it weird to be standing at a urinal peeing while some other guy is standing there beside you peeing too??? (link)
|
Yes, very weird to stand next to a guy in a urinal. Which is why I use the stalls instead. The urinal requires me to get too close to it, and the urine bounces back sometimes, in the stalls I can flush by using my foot instead of hand.

Hey guys.
Okay I love to write and I have a passion for English. I'm going to college to study it in September.
Okay so lately the problem is I'm totally lacking inspiration and motivation.
I haven't written since I finished school which is a good few months ago. My actual English final exam for school went very badly. I put too much pressure on myself because I wanted to do so well that I panicked and ended up doing not nearly as good as I wanted to.
Ever since then I lost confidence in myself.
I started second guessing myself and wondering am I really as good as I once thought? I'm also wondering will I be cut out for studying it in college..
I recently discovered Wattpad the website that allows you to read and write stories. I would love to write a story on there but I beat myself up and tell myself I am not good enough. When I read novels I think wow I would never be able to come up with something half as good as this.. I don't know its frustrating because I always loved English. Especially when I was younger I would invent stories all the time.
Now i'm lacking any real ideas..even the ones I have I think how can I develop this to make it longer and more interesting?
It's my ultimate dream to become a journalist and write articles. Or work for a some sort of magazine. But I don't know I feel like it's out of my reach..
How do I get over this lack of confidence and stop putting myself down and comparing myself to others? Or should I just forget about it? (link)

Mmm, English, writing. I write poetry. I just recently started too. I love it. I try not to worry about the comparison to other pieces. When it comes to something being good or better, it's all opinion. Which is why I try not to worry about the comparison to other pieces. If I express what I want to in the way I want to, I'm happy. Even if people like or dislike it. Sometimes I get stuck or I'll consider a poem of mine to be horrible. The reality is that there is no accurate judgement. Some people like it, some people dislike it. Either way, it's all opinion. A story being good could never be a fact. A story being horrible can never be a fact. A few lines from a poem of mine:
A description of one must be biased
As long as an opinion is licensed
One side sees a hero, the other a tyrant
See? People may not consider that good, but I expressed what I wanted to. I love all the feedback even when it's negative, I especially love it when people misinterpret some poems. You can bring your dream to reality.

1. Immigrants coming into their country illegally
Was it right for white people in the past to claim ownership of land from Native Americans, Africans, Australian Aborgines, Indians, etc? If you're white and live in the Americas, Australia, or any other colonized country, do you see that as okay, as those other groups didn't have immigration laws, even though land was forcefully taken away from them? Even if you live in Europe, many European countries benefited from their colonies, so it has affected you positively.
Also, what made Europeans move out of Europe in the first place? In a country like America, many Europeans came who were facing persecution in Europe, to pursue a better life. If you can be sympathetic to that, why can't you be sympathetic to Mexicans coming here, because their life is so horrible in Mexico they have to resort to coming here illegally, because it takes too long and/or is too expensive for them to get a visa/citizenship, and they want to make a better life for themselves and their children? We don't hear about Canadians coming here illegally, and that is because Canada's economy is much better. Don't hate the immigrants, hate what led them to make that decision, Mexico being in a wreck. It doesn't matter how hard we try to secure the border, it will just make people more inventive. It's similar to the drug war, and the prohibition = failures. with such a huge demand for something, no matter how much work is done to stop it, it will still happen. Instead of wasting all this money on the border, we should be trying to fix Mexico if we truly care about illegal immigrants in America. It's also important to America because it's right next to us, not far away, across the Atlantic. Improve Mexico, and America gets directly improved
2. Immigrants come and don't try to learn to speak the official language
Did Europeans try to learn the languages of the places they colonized, or did they continue speaking their European languages that were natural to them? Why is English Nigeria's national language? Why is Portuguese Brazil's national language? Why does most of South America in general speak Spanish, when Native American languages were original? Why isn't the Australian national language an Aboriginal language?
3. Immigrants don't try to join our culture, they just stick with theirs
Is it wrong for white South Africans to still be influenced by European culture, even though that's how they were brought up? No. People often move to different countries for economic purposes, not because they want to completely abandon everything about the way they lived in the past, essentially, their very nature. And as long as you have a marketable skill, you will be successful, whether you adopt the culture of the nation you live in or not. In America, that is called freedom of choice, and if you're proud to be an American, you respect one of America's founding ideals. If someone only chooses to know Spanish and can't find a job because of it, that is their choice. But at the same time, there are people who want to learn English but can't afford it, but come to America anyways, because they still want to find a way to put food on the table
4.They choose come here, and yet complain about the country
Maybe because as a whole, minorities don't get the same benefits that people of the majority get. The law may say so, but in reality there is still a lot of inequality in this world. Why should they, or anyone else, be okay with that? And, using America as an example again, since when is it un American to complain about the status quo? America was founded by people who hated the status quo, and wanted to separate from England. The American ideal is to pursue a more perfect union, even if it means breaking the status quo. It's one of the reasons why America has so many entrepreneurs, so many inventors patenting their original ideas. The only way to make a more perfect union is by challenging the status quo
5. I hate race mixing. I think everyone should only mate with others with similar physical characteristics
Good for you. Marry whomever you want. But don't impose that on others, that is called fascism. Again, if you're an American, you should value individuals' rights to having the freedom of choice. If it's very important for you to have children with specifically blonde hair and blue eyes, then go have them. But don't criticize other people for not having the same viewpoint, for loving their spouse and children no matter what they look like. At the end of the day, we're all just humans. The Human Genome Project, the largest study of DNA ever conducted, says that different races, like white, black, etc. scientically don't exist; they're just social terms. Freedom of choice means you support other people living happy lives. Even though I personally think that people shouldn't consider skin tone when choosing their mate, that doesn't mean I think someone should get criticized for specifically choosing to only marry someone else with the same skin tone. That is their choice. It's only a problem when they try to impose what they view as an "ideal mate" to others, and try to take away their freedoms, because of their superficial fears that certain physical characteristics will die out. there are children of all colors dying everyday, and yet your worried about something so trivial, so shallow? seriously?
IN CONCLUSION, why should white people expect new immigrants to do things that their ancestors didn't? Why do they even get mad that other people want to move to their country, when their ancestors thought it would be better to immigrate to a different country as well? Even if they didn't and you still live in Europe, there's a good chance your country has benefited from colonization. So unless you think colonization as a whole was wrong, and think white people shouldn't have moved to the Americas, Australia, etc. in the past, you can't truly say you hate immigration. Heck, technically, nobody can even say they hate immigration unless they and all of their ancestors have lived in the same place since the beginning of human existence. THIS IS NOBODY. Unless they hate this aspect of humans, and want to return back to their true homeland, wherever humans first originated in Africa.
We should work to fix immigration problem issues at their root causes. Don't hate immigrants as a whole, or you're hating a part of yourself, cause everyone's ancestors traveled at one point and did bad things at some point or another, because we're humans (link)
|
In current reality it's not only whites who tend to hate immigrants. Many colored Americans (Whose families have been here for generations) also hate immigrants, this is a fact. But the white man is the reason why a Native american continent is filled with non native Americans. Many hate immigrants because they hate the truth that the immigrant is usually a lot less lazy than the citizen. It's racism, in history, we learn about Hitler and Stalin & others who were behind the killing of about 40 million other Europeans. But they don't mention the fact that Europeans, over time, eliminated over 60 million natives throughout the Americas. I think that a lot of the hatred has to do with lack of education and the way their raised. I go to a ghetto school, but my history teachers were really great, they changed the way I saw things. My history teacher hates the history textbooks. Like religion, they technically have a choice, but are forced to think that way at a young age.

Is there any way to explain, in not such a really long, confusing way like they do online..The difference between a democrat and a republican?
please and thank you,
I have to decide in order to register. (link)
|
They're all different and some may share views while others don't. Which is why people should vote based on the individual candidate, not the party. There's a lot of misinformation out there like "Republicans are for the rich" this isn't true. G. Washington said that parties would destroy the country.

I'm trying to plan a trip to the U.S for next June/July. I'm in the UK and on a budget so as my flights out there are going to be pretty expensive, I'm trying to keep costs down as much as possible once I get to America. I'm not entirely sure where exactly I'm going yet, but I think I'll probably be flying out to Vancouver, Canada to stay with family before flying down to LA. From LA I think I'd travel by train to Austin, Texas; New Orleans, Louisiana; Chicago, Illinois; and then on to Wisconsin to visit my friend and flying back to the UK from there.
I guess there are two parts to my question:
1. Which places could I incorporate into my route that are worth visiting? After I leave Canada, I'd like to spend around 3 weeks in America so I want to see as much as possible.
2. Is travelling by train the best/cheapest option? (link)
|
Maybe bus or train. Coming to the US without stopping in NYC?

How old are you? Are you happy with your age? how's life treating you? (link)

I'm male/16. I was much happier as a child. Everything now is boring & seems pointless. I wasn't as lonely. When I was a child, I was always wondering about things. I think the motor that pushes me foreword is dying. I miss being a child. I ENJOYED life. Now I barely care. I need a gal friend. Someone who likes me for my wierd self, and I can talk to about almost anything in deep conversations. I find it rare nowadays. :( I'm losing patience.

To start off it was in my room, and I never experienced anything like this before.. I never figured anything like this would happen..it was just random.( This happened a few months ago)
I was sleeping and I was awaken by this odd chewing sound in my ear, it made me jump..and look over.. nothing was there. So I though, "It was nothing." I went back to sleep..than the next
night..when I woke up.. my door started to slowly move..I jumped up and ran to the door..and I caught the doorknob...it was still moving and I stopped it. After that, I became really.. spooked..
I told my father about this..and he told me..it could be my great great grandmother, apparently she believed in voodoo and stuff like that...she had a thing for the women in the family...and she liked to be around them..and what not..she he believed it could have been her. Also, the house I was living in..it was there house.. my grandmother..and her lived in there to..but my room was built on..and it's new..so I don't know whats going on.
After that happened, I put a rosary around my door knob and I asked the spirit (if there as one) to please go away and thank you.. All of that stopped bust still now..I hear like little taps.. every other night.. like a pencil on a piece of paper..or little bug's crawling..i look out everywhere..no bugs.. I thought it was my fan making the papers on my wall do that..but no..
I also woke up one day..and this porcelain doll I have sitting on a shelve...in front of my bed..it looked like it was crying..lt looked shiny on the outside of it's nose.. and I was like.. "Oh, it's probably the sun coming in from the window making a glare." ..The next few days..it never happened again..
So could you please help out with this? I'm not really scared anymore..but still I'd liked to know.

Ok, I have had similar things happen and my house is over 130 years old. Along time ago, I didn't sleep in my bed, I REFUSED TO DO SO. Its like I felt a disturbance. It was to the point where my mom, dad, AND sister tried sleeping in my room but they all felt something. My mom said she felt something choking her while trying to sleep in my room. She went to a church & got holy water then splashed some in every room while praying ( I don't remember which prayer) But it seemed to have worked. Good luck.

Well, go get a GOOD ghillie suit. Find a bushy yarded house, plant a camera, knock and kide on some grass. OR scare old people at a park with a ghillie (Those grassman special ops suits) if you get a good one, you'll be almost impossible to see in grassy knolls. They are very good suits for sneaking around
