I can't get myxer tones either, but it may be because of the settings on your phone. Even though the stuff's free, its all still considered premium texting, and if some premium texting is blocked on your phone then you won't be able to get them. Ask your phone company about your settings. That's all I can really think it would be...hope that helps.

I went to hang out with this friend of mine that I thought was really nice, and he knew I had a bf so I thought we were just gonna hang out.. apparently he thought differently. He made a joint n we smoked up but it must've been laced cuz i had no idea what i was doing afterwards i couldn't even walk. after he smoked me up, he took me back into his bedroom n raped me. I tried to tell him no but I was so high I couldn't even get the words to come out, I could barely even move. I called the police n went to the ER to get a rape kit done but I'm scared now that he's gonna come to my house n hurt me or something. I can't even sleep on the edge of my bed anymore cuz I think he's under there for some reason. I keep thinking it's all my fault. I'm even going through counseling n it doesn't seem to help. What should I do to get rid of these feelings? PLEASE HELP ME! (link)

Talking to someone should help...but I think you just need to give it time. I agree that he should be in jail, and that you should help put him there (even if that's terrifying). Other than that...my advice is to pray. Even if you don't consider yourself "religious" or you've never even thought of doing that...trust God. God heals. (And God saves.)

I say go with a decade theme...which has kinda already been suggested. lol. we just had an 80s party for my church and it was so much fun. We did things like simulate 80s movies characters and the fashion (which is pretty fun in and of itself), we played games like hula-hoops contests and a scrunchy toss and had prizes like rubic's cubes and little light brights and stuff. basicall we just went all out.
so I'd suggest that, or other decade themes like 50s rock and roll, 60s disco, 70s hippie, or like solute to the 90s kids, since that's what you guys are. lol. just things that I think would be fun.

no idea what the text means, sorry. but i do love to analyze dreams.
i know that when you dream about people you don't know...it's usually about you. for that fact when you dream about anyone it's about you. strangers like you're describing, especially if they were the same gender as you, probably represent negative attributes about yourself. because it was at a hospital (or just in a hospital bed, same symbol) the negative attribute might be weakness or dependence on others, maybe this is something you are getting over. if so, this would explain why you were comforted. maybe you're taking a new step that will allow you to let go of something in yourself that you see as holding you back; a.k.a. the stranger (whatever you see as bad, or just "not you") is dying (you're getting over it) for a reason. the fact that the person did not actually die it's possible that you are having trouble getting over it, or you aren't ready.
that's just my analysis from a "dreams" book that i have, because i have some pretty random dreams, too. i could be totally off but i hope it helps anyway.

honestly, it seems like it only works with like mild skin (not that much acne), or you have to use it with something else. (ex. i use it and take nature's cure, too). you can try it but it may not be worth the money for you.

I'm going to college in NY and I'm from PA. Whenever I go to NY and even on campus, my service isn't as great as when I'm in PA. Other people had Verizon at orientation, but they had a different model phone and their service worked fine. I have an LG Chocolate vx8550. If I keep having problems with service when I'm at college, is there anything they can do? Also, will I be charged with roaming? Thanks! (link)

it's ttrue about dialing *282, it is supposed to update your service. it doesn't always work though. despite this, verizon is nation-wide so it should work everywhere. there have been a lot of problems associated with the chocolate phone. they break easily and often don't work as well as other phones is my experiance as well as what i've heard. i would talk to the verizon store. but if they are not cooperative, i would just get a new one in new york and switch networks. the phone will most likely work better and be cheaper! if you have to stay on verizon because you have a family plan or something, i would choose a more reliable model like a razor or a model known to work well. anyway, hope that helps. good luck at college.

basically, don't bring anything that security can see as a threat. this includes basically anything sharp; knives, razor baldes, they will more than likely bust you if they find a nail file. (lol. i know it sounds funny but no joke.) you also shouldn't be able to carry on any liquids that are more than 8 ounces though some airports are more lenient if you bought the liquid at the airport. but this also includes shampoo, hair gel, etc. I would just pack travel size stuff like that in your luggage. but other than stuff that can be considered a threat to the general public, they really aren't as harsh as it would seem. just as long as you are bringing the typical stuff everyone takes on vacation (and you remember to remove all metal at detectors) you should be just fine.

At the beginning of this past year, I really got into drawing. I don't know why, but it started with random doodles and ended with some pretty good realistic and some cartoons. My dad said I have a talent, but I didn't think so. Eventually, I just ran out of inspiration and started drawing crappy again :[ I'm confused, how did I go from talent to no talent so quickly? And now I want to start drawing again, but it's so bad it's discouraging. It's like some part of me WANTS to draw, but the rest of me doesn't... how can I make myself love drawing again? i think you just lost your muse, or what sanwookong called a "genius moment". you just got uninspired but it sounds like drawing is really something you love. you just need something new to inspire you. so go out and find that! :) you can get art books that can show you everything from drawing amazing realistically to different kinds of cartoons. there are just so many styles out there. or take a class. find cartoonists or artists that inspire you and try to use thier style. or make cartoons of real life situations. i don't know if anyone can tell you where specifically to find your muse, just start looking. it seems if you have thiss kind of will to do it, it shouldn't be hard to find. well...good luck with the artistic endevours. hope i helped a bit! :D

Coincidently, there's going to be a lot of relatives coming over this summer but most of them are coming like 3 days before my birthday and staying during it. I'm REALLY not a birthday kind of person and I'll just eat a slice of cake, that it. No parties, gifts, etc.
But as much as I tell people this frequently, I know that they'll try to pull off something. I just hate birthdays. Why would I celebrate getting older?

i think the only real way tp get your family to understand you really don't want to make your birthday a big deal is by explaining to them why. particularly your parents becuase in my experiance, if you don't make a big deal of your birthday and your parents don't mention anythihg, well you guys are the ones it matters most to so other relatives or friends may think twice before making a big deal.
but i gotta say, if you really don't have a reason, enjoy it! i mean, i an understand not wanting to be the center of attention, but what harm could come out of a few hugs and some gifts? plus, i'm assuming you're still young if you still live where you can't control who comes over, so celebrate the years when you ARE young. i am probably just overly motivated right now becuase today is my birthday, but just try to enjoy it. no matter what happens, it's your day.

16/f I'm a writer it's what I do it's who I am. I've been so sick of reading the cliche teen books out there and I want another opinion. Recently there has been this idea in my head for a story after I threw away this novel that I bought and realized it was just like every other girl-meets-boys-falls-in-love-and-defies-all-odds/saves the world. I would like to ask anyone who would help me out: What is something that you've been rolling your eyes about and wish would change in the current teen stories that you see on about 20 bookshelves at Borders. I want to break the mold and if I have to ask every teenager out there what they want, I will.

first of all i admire that you're a writer that's awesome, so am i. but i just wish some young adult authors would mix it up a bit. every other book on the shelves at Borders is about either an outcast or a prep school/ boarding school student, with the same typical "cliques" and the end being a guy and a girl realizing how perfect they are for eachother. i mean, seriously those aren't the only poeple in the world to model characters after and that isn't the only basis of a story. and if it is, there could be twists and turns to make things a bit more intersting. i mean, don't get me wrong, that's a great story! but when you read it a dozen times it gets old. why don't you ask around and find out what's up with peoples' lives, what is going on ohter than falling in love and what people can relate to. don't write anything that you aren't inspired to, but maybe you'll find a muse! I just want to read something different, real, and interesting. good luck with the novel.

My friend Rebecca never goes by the final answer on something. She is always fixated on the original comment whether it was made an hour ago, a day ago, a month ago, etc. For example: when her mother originally said:; Rebecca you are very thin, I am concerned, I dont want you to lose weight;. However, Rebecca totally ignores the fact that her mother said as her final answer; No I dont think you should gain I just think you should not lose;. MY QUESTIONS: (1) Do you know why Rebecca refuses to go by the final answer; (2) And how does she accept the final answer and not go by the original comment? Thanks (link)

i'm not really sure why but it can just be that she thinks of it as the first thing that comes out of your mouth is what you really think, which can be true. like you know how if you ask someone if you...say...look good in something? well they don't think you do so they say that. but then you get upset so they take it back. but it doesn't really change thier mind.
i would just kind of watch what you say around her. not make it sound too offensive since obviously she's a little sensitive. and i'd explain what she does to her ane point it out when she does it.

well if your 14 or over you can get a worker's permit and people will higher teens at like movie theaters, stores at the mall, "playlands" like Quigys or Chuckie Cheese's and stuff like that.
If not you might have to stick to stuff like babysitting. Or you can sell old stuf of yours or pratically new stuff you never used. that will get you money. or just save it if you get an allowence or money for lunch(take lunch and save the money).

there are ones that seem kind of lame like hand cuffs and musterd and a hot dog but you could just like be the same thing. inmates, pirates, cheerleaders, etc. you could also do something like wondder woman and supergirl or like snow white and the villian in that movie or something like that. google holloween costumes. there are alot of ideas.

ofcourse not. you dance and talk to friends and eat if thay have food and....no most people usually just sociolize. you can take pictures and whatnot. it's more like just hanging out or that's what everyone at my school does anyway. but yeah, you don't dance for 4 hours.
