I'm going to be a sophomore in high school!
I've been through quite a bit in my life: My mom had cancer when I was little, so they gave her a pace-maker to fix it. (over the next 6-7 years the radiation ruined her heart valves!) Then, my dad left us when I was in 6th grade. And, my mom found out that she had to have a heart transplant, which she did a little over a year ago! She got re-married and is living a happy and healthy life now!
So, I know about a lot of things, especially family and boys! So, if you have any questions at all, please ask! My friends are always coming to me for advice! And, I love giving it! So, ask away!

so theres this guy... and ever since the third grade off and on we have both really liked each other. well we went out for like a week but we broke up but hes still my BEST guy friend. so im not really racist or anything but hes indian. im white. i really like him. i just dont know why but i cant get over the fact. i dont know what to do. and i know i sound amazingly shallow but come on. you know it has to be different dating a person of a different race..... thanks (link)

Hey! Well, you 2 sound just like me and 1 of my best guy friends! He's hispanic and I'm white.... We've been best friends since 2nd grade! We did try dating a little in middle school, but we broke it off deciding that friendship is for the best! Going through that just made our friendship stronger! My advice: Just stay friends! It's ok to crush on him! I still crush on my best guy friend... but we NEVER want to ruin our friendship! So, good luck! Hope it all works out!

so we went out a year ago and recently started talking again, he replies to a bunch of my myspace bulletins and ims me on msn all the time. he recently called me to walk around with him at warped tour, but then backed out, and when i saw him at warped tour he invited me to walk with him but i walked away, and when i saw him again there he stared at me and spit water at me and threw a condom at me (jerk) and then when i ran into him a 3rd time at warped he wanted me to walk with him again but i said no again, and he was supposed to talk to some other chick and i asked him if they were going out and he said i dont know and my friend told me that was because he didnt want to tell me the real answer, and ive asked him where we stand before, but that was after him and a serious gf broke up, so he was still upset over that, and like he asks me to chill, but he always just wants to have sex, even though i always tell him no not unless its with a bf.. so i dont know, what should i do. does he like me and if so, how do i find out, and if he doesnt, how do i get him to lol
*please dont tell me hes no good for you blah blah blah, believe me, i know, save the speech, i get it from everyone else, and dont bother wasting your energy and time replying with an answer that will probably just waste my time and upset me*

Hey gurl! Well, the way it sounds I think there's a small chance that he might like you. But, I think he's prbly still a little upset over his last breakup w/ his serious g/f... Just give him a little time, and if he doesn't ask you out after awhile, maybe tell him that you like him. I mean, wats the worst he could say to you? "I don't like you in that way." SO wat? You'll find another guy! And, girl, if you're thinking about having sex with him, DONT do it until you KNOW that you're READY!!! Don't do it as soon as you start going out, wait until you know that you're ready! Good luck!
