Alright so I'm nearly 16 (girl) and I've never had a boyfriend. Its not that there's somethign wrong with me or anything, its just that I'm not super outgoing or the type of person to flirt with a guy who I don't actually like. Nobody really dates at my school (I'm not kidding, there aren't that many relationships within the school, most kids' bfs/gfs go to other schools) and I don't really know many kids from other schools (haha I know, loser, right).
I never really cared about getting a boyfriend before cause it was just like, whatever, and I never really thought I was ready for it, but now I think I am and am ready to start looking this summer. Not to sound cocky but I don't think I'd necessarily have a problem getting a boyfriend, I'm fairly attractive and have a great personality (or so I've been told, haha) I just don't know where to look. So where are good places to meet guys? And what are good techniques to get the guy to make the first move?
Haha I know this sounds really lame but I don't have a lot of experience in dating and I pride myself on taking relationships slow so that they actually mean something. I don't want to date for fun, I want to date to find meaning. So I don't want to be picking up any sleazy guys hahaa

Right you're not a loser so stop putting yourself down joking or not!!
I'll tell you something else most girls are in the exact same position of you. I've even caught a friend out lying about having a boyfriend once because she was that sure that if she didn't have one people wouldn't think she was "behind" them.
It's really good that you want to take things slow and find the right guy instead of just rushing straight into a relationship with any old "fool" and when you do find your perfect boy it will be extra special and he should respect you for knowing that you havn't been throwing yourself at whatever boy comes along!!
As for meeting boys try joing a new group or a new club and getting to know other people, hang around with any boy mates you may have more often and you will get to know how they behave plus boys love to flirt with their girl mates in a friendly way though so that would be some practice in the flirting area and don't forget boys have boy mates so you never know where that might lead when you meet some of their other boy friends!!
Remember to just enjoy yourself, have a good time and be yourself. Boyfriend/girlfriend relationships arn't everything!!

ok so i like this guy for bout 3 months. and never told him or anything. well then about a week ago he asked me to our school dance and asked me out. Well i better tell you that im a loud, happy, outgoing, kinda popular, crazy, fun person who has lots of guy friends because girls just cause to much drama. Iv been in both the school plays and iv had lead roles. Im a select soccer player and i play the whole game, lead goal scorer. Im a computer geek lol and i guess people consider me realy pretty(dont like to say im pretty cause that just seems "bigheaded") i laugh alot and i like to tell perverted jokes cause i think they are super funny. Well my boyfriend is tall, not exactly the cutest, shy, quiet, realy deep, he goes to church all the time, and idk hes kinda serious. and he wont hug me or anything. so the way he talks to me is just like, super serious alot of the time and im a silly girl. I mean i liked him alot but the more im getting to know the real him the less im likeing him. But i feel bad because im not shure how i feel towards him. I dont want to seem like a mean person or anything because im really not. But im not shure what to do. We are so different but kind of the same. Im so Confuseeed right now >. (link)

Let Me start off by saying .... Who isn't terrible at relationships ....
Relationships take work and you need to nuture them!!
Calm down and stop thinking everything through so much, you're only young so nothing serious has to come from this relationship!!
You should give this relationship a try and see where it goes. Maybe try asking him where he wants to go and go there but whatever you do don't joke about his choice you never know you might enjoy it!!
Him being serious may be a good thing, if you have exams coming up he might be able to offer you that extra hand which you need in a certain lesson and who cares about how he looks!!
I've been in the exact same position except what I did was finished My boyfriend because he wasnt the "coolest and most good looking guy" .... want to know what happened .... Well I didn't see him for afew months after he went to a different collage and I'll tell you something when I saw him I regreted finishing it, he was HOT and TAKEN.
Don't make the same mistake .... stick it out .... There might just be a honeymoon period around the corner when you realise just how great he is and remember why you liked him in the first place!!
