I can pretty much promise you that you won't be single forever. It's only middle school, you have a wholeee life ahead of you. And I don't think that will have any affect on guys in highschool. aww. i'm sure it's gonna be hard. Okay, well, first off, thank you :o). Not all long distance relationships work out but some do. Sometimes it depends on how far away you are from the person. And I don't know what state/city you live in soo yeah. And a real jerk for being like what? haha you gotta fill me in babe. O.K. well you see I like this guy named Logan and we went out in october for like a month till november and then i dumped him and then we went out off and on again until now, and I still really like him like more than i have ever liked any body! Well, why do you say he liked you for your looks? from what you said there's no evidience he does. But it's possible. And I know what you mean not being able to get over him. You will eventually. The guy that I like is about 25 pounds overweight and isnt athetlic at all. I asked him if he wanted to play tennis with me because I have been taking lessons. The whole time we played he critized me, saying mean things like "your stamina is terrible", what kind of lessons have you been taking", and " I thought you would have been way better". He was really upsetting me so finally I said that I was still learning and to give me a break. The thing was that he was a lot worse than me, and I was trying to say nice things to encourage me.
A couple days later he told me that he thought I should lose 15 pounds. I am average, not fat. He is way more overweight than me and I have never said anything to him because I know it would just hurt him. My feelings were very hurt with all his negativity. Should I move on?

Well, talk to him about it. And, can you trust the person who told you all those things? Don't believe everything someone says. Annnd to answer your question. The could mean two things. either, A. he's just nervous/emmbarrassed or B. he doesn't wanna talk to you/doesn't like you. Soo, talk to him and see what's really up. Or ask one of his friends.
