Before thinking, I told the guy I like that he was in for a suprise when I see him tommorrow at school. I like him, he likes me, but feels he would be a bad boyfriend. We are pretty close. What are some cute or romantic or thoughtful suprises that I could do, I mean to show I was thinking about him? (link)

okay well i like this one guy(lets call him cody) and i also kind of like this other guy(lets call him matt) codys going to the movies with the one girl he likes( lets call her kate) but he told me he likes me too& ive also heard that from a couple of his friends& at the same time im going to the movies with matt(the guy i sort of like) and i was wonderingg if i should just act friends with matt because im not really sure if i want a relationship with him because cody knows i like him& hes "said" hes trying to "straighten" things out with kate because they went out and then they broke up but thats all he told me: so back to my question should i act just friends with matt or act flirty with him to get cody jealous: and i know that sounds like im using matt but i sort of like him too so in a way its not using him because im pretty sure he likes me too and stuff

This sounds really stressful for you. First of all never flirt with another guy to make on jealous becaose then the guy you really like will just think you like the other guy and move on. Now to the business of matt and cody act the way you always do with matt. You say you sorta like him so show it! Then you have a great friend if cody does want to go out. And if cody never gets things starightened out you got matt! Hope I helped.

I know it can seem like this guy is fine to date , but he's not. 17 year old are a lot different from 13 year olds and if your having trouble starting conversations that could be why. The next time you see him explain the misunderstanding and tell him you just want to be friends. If you want an older guy, only strecth a year or 2...4 is too far a part. Hope i helped.

Never Fear Daisy is HERE!(with the perfect solution)-First of all decide if you're friend really likes him. Have a long (private) conversation. Go out to lunch together or something like that so no one can butt in. Discuss everything and be perfectly honest no lying to save the other persons feelings. If she doesn't like him...wait a while before asking him out to give him time to recover. If she does like him your going to have to (don don don)GET OVER HIM! Either pick out another(available) guy to set your sights on or work really hard on a goal, like all A's. Don't let a guy ruin your life or your friendship!

well i like this boy. and we were talking about who we like and he asked me who i liked, and im like someone, why? and he's like i know someone that likes you. and then he was giving hints of who he likes. 1. he's good friends with them. [we're best friends.] 2. they're in our math class, [i'm in it] 3. its not my two best friends who are also in our math class. Now this a situation that can end happily like all those fairy tales or miserably. I f you want to look cool calm and collected not obsessed and desperate follow my instructions! First of if he doesn't bring it up, then you don't bring it up. If you're dying ot know suggest a game of truth or dare. The question is bound to come up. When it does don't get overexcited. If he refuses to tell don't pester him. The holidays are coming so get him a meaningful gift about your friendship. It can go along with an inside joke, be a mix cd of his fave songs, or a batch of his fave brownies. Include a note that says: "You're the best guy friend a girl could have!" After he reads it say: I was hoping you might be the best boyfriend a girl could have too!

Wow. The only way I could tell you exactly what this means would be if I had the magical powers of figuring out the weird things guys do. No girl has that power so we just have to try and look for clues and hints that guys drop. He could possibly mean he just likes you plain and simple as a friend. When he signed off, that either means he got nervous and didn't want to tell you anything or he didn't want to hurt your feelings. Since you said you guys really don't talk in person do this: When you see him in the hall or in the cafeteria tell him he really made you feel better. Try and keep a normal friendship up. in health class we were talking about descison making and these guys in my class were talking about grinding and then the teacher got into it and said, "So you don't care if the girl's smart, you just care if she's hot?" and then my crush said heck yes. he grinds with a lot of girls and idk if i should like him if all he wants from me is to grind. what should i do? Ahh the jerkish remarks of the teenaged male. We can't blame them completely for their sexual minds part of that is their testosterone talking. So don't totally forget about this guy. Think about how he was with girls when they weren't grinding. Did he pick up things she dropped, or did he drop things so she would bend down.... If you really care about this guy you'll let him be. This may sound like really bad and annoying advice, but it's true. If you know he's happy don't do anything to ruin his relationship because he won't come running to you he'll be really angry at you. Because your in middle-high school the odds are in your favor that they'll probably break up. If/when they do comfort him. I suggest bake him cookies and watch a really funny movie(but not the BREAK UP!) Give him time to feel better before asking him out. Who knows? He might ask you before you as him. This is a tough one. I've been in your situation before and frankly it can suck.But never fear! I've gotten out of theses situations. He sounds like a really amazing friend being there for you when you need him and all so preserve that. If you guys stay really close friends and it sounds like you are he'll eventually see the great girl right in front of him. For now do things you would do with all your other friends get him holdiay/birthday presents celebrate achivements hang out! The more quality time the better.
