I've been writing songs for a while, but never have really came up with anything I like. I was wondering if any of you have tips on how to make a good song. Also once the lyrics are created any ideas on how to come up with a neat tune to go along with it to complete the final song? (link)

Well, think about something big in your life that has happened, or that you appreciate. something where people can understand you. not the same old crap. i write songs too. then, study the form of a song--like where the verses, chorus, bridge, everything usually goes in a song. then, just start writing, from the beging of the story to the end, thinking of a tune along the way!!
