Um....akward....
Im a gamer by blood and a writer by culture.
(part of a controller melted to my thumb once and is now a hardened callus under my skin, and i hang out with webcomic artists so i pick up from them.) I write stuff for movies during language arts and math. I also do a daily webcomic at freewebs.com/djmcomic. Stuff like that keeps me on the rope of sanity from falling into the depths of strangeness.

i have been trying to find out how much CNN charges for their airtime, supposing one wants his/her programme aired on the station, but i cant find their charges even on their web site. I need to find out how to go about it (link)
You should ask CNN corprate.

They should tell you. You could contact the webmaster and ask him about it.

Ok so I still love my ex and he loves me back but i dont want a bf and now my other ex who hurt me basically denying he ever liked me said he just did that so me and my other ex could get together and he wouldnt be in the way, i'm not sure if he's lying to me, but i really want to be with the ex i love but if i even start hanging out with the other one i'll fall for him again too, but he's one of my best friends so what do i do? Hes just mad you broke up. use that in your decision.

What can you do when you have a boss that gives everyone else fun and simple tasks, but gives you the dirty work that no one else wants, PLUS doesnt appreciate your hard work?
I work in retail at a superstore in the clothing department. Because it's january, all of our hours have been cut, Well anyways my boss told me today that she wanted me take down everything from the shelves and windex the shelves, plus our display tables. I had to take off all the nicely folded clothing and then spray our tables, wipe them, then put all the clothes back on. I worked my ass off, and all the other girls working got to do fun jobs, like setting up displays and customer service. After my shift was over (and covered in dirt) I said goodbye to my boss and another girl. The other girl said bye, but my boss never said anything or even acknowledged all my hard work.
Should I be upset? Because I almost felt like quitting after today. (link)
Crappy bosses are no reason to quit. it means they win. you have to stand up to them first. And if you get fired, so what. You were gonna quit anyway.

Today at my job I got to work a bit early as I always do, but then got distracted by my boss. She told me to go to receiving ( which is in the very back of this huge store) and to find all the boxes for our department and then bring them back to our section. While I was busy doing this I totally forgot to sign in!!! It was 15 minutes past when my shift started. We are on a computer system. We have id cards, sort of like bank cards that we have to swipe on our till. So anyways I RAN to the nearest till to log in. Now I'm freaked out because she made a huge deal about a month ago because once I had logged out 1 minute early. She knows I was on time but she'll probablly forget, and when she gets the computer records she's going to have a hissy. I found out that she's leaving on a holiday for 9 days. What should I do? I didnt want to say anything to her today. Should I go to the store mangager and explain what happened? (link)
yeah, explain, cuz it isnt your fault it was thiers. And if you have the manager backing you up, she cant do much anything.

A friend has had a lot to drink, and they are on the verge of collapsing or throwing up, etc. I'm good at the emotional consolation stuff when people get upset, but what about what I should do physically?

Should they lie down, sit upon the floor, sit in a chair? Should they drink water? Should I get them to eat something? Should I take their wrists and make them wave their arms to keep blood rushing? Should I get them to walk? Should they be outside in the fresh air, or in the warmth? Where should I be, sitting side by side with them, sitting on the floor with my chest to their back?

Secondly, if I'm also drunk and I think that the atmosphere around me is getting aggressive, how can I accelerate sobering up to retain the role of a coordinator and get people sorted out?

(link)
have them eat pretzels, it soaks up the alcahol. I think it doesn anyway. thats why they have pretzels in bars.
same goes for coffee. (?)
have some coffee to calm down....i think.
