I've been with my boyfriend for four years now. He has been having trouble getting me a gift (or so he says). He talked to his brother who said 'get her an engagement ring already'. He told me this too. Then he talked to his aunt and she said the same thing...and he said he was working on it. Mind you he told me about these conversations for some reason...as to get my reaction maybe? Anyway I got a text from him and his brother asking me my ring size...what do you think is going on? Opinions?
He had said awhile ago he wanted to wait for a little...I'm so confused not sure how to feel! (link)

He probably wants to propose, even if he doesn't want to get married for another year or so. Give him your ring size if you haven't, but don't get your hopes up high. If you are expecting to get married and he doesn't propose, you'll be sad. Maybe he wants to know for future reference. Maybe he is planning on proposing later this year (the reason he said he wanted to wait) so he asked you now so it would be a surprise later. I think he will ask you sooner or later for sure! :)
