I am so upset right now! I am tired of feeling like I am never good enough for him. I never do anything right and he always has to tell me. It hurts so bad, why can't fathers just love their children, and not have to make them feel like no matter how hard they try I fail. (link)

My dad is the exact same way, and it's even worse because I have younger siblings whom he hugs and praises all of the time, but you just have to tell him and let him know.
I finally got through to my dad and we have a much better relationship. But after you break through, it takes patience to get where you want to be.
