ok, so I usually start my period around the 22nd I didn't start until today, I go to mexico in 9 days, my mom said it should be over by then but I was wandering since I started so late will my period last longer? or do you think it'll be over by the 11th? (link)

It depends on how long your periods normally last for. But yes, it should be over in time. Since periods typically last 3-7 days. You should be fine(:
