advice
I'm a cheerleader and this year I'm doing more advanced stunting. I'm a flyer which Is I go in the air. I am able to do a lib which is standing on one foot. I can also do a scorpian but have troble balancing. Any tips? on balancing. Also I need advice on flyin in a basket toss how do you do it!? An I need help on other things like an arabisk? ( idk how to spell it) and when you pull a scorpian how do you hold it and other stretching advice for making scorpians and heel stretches. How do you pull a heel stretch easily? also a tik tock, and a twist pop(AKA a full twist or full down) I can already do a twist but I need tips on how to stay tight in the air and how to get all the way aroun and in the cradle position. I need tips on all of this and how can you fly in a basket toss?
Balance: i know some people who have bought this thing ( http://cheerleading.about.com/od/fitnesshealthandbeauty/gr/mae_flyer.htm ) and it helps with balance. or im sure you can use your imagination and create something similar to use. Also....keeping your eyes on one thing helps you focus and keep balanced.
basket toss: i was never a flyer so im not sure but i remember my coaches saying to do the move (like the toe touch or whatever..i dont remember the names) at your highest point. also just watch youtube videos and analyze their moves/stratagies
stretching: just stretch all the time lol. it really works. the more you stretch, the more flexible you become, and then the easier the stunts will be. again, if you look on youtube for "how to do a scorpian/areobesque/etc" it'll help.
as for the tick tock and twist pop..i have no idea. if you have other flyers on your squad who do these well, ask them for advice! hope i helped you a bit!
