I think I want to be a teacher?
Can any one give me information about what I need to know, like how do I become a teacher? What Colleges are good choices to go to? (in VA)

heeeyyyy!!yay another teacher well done!i for to the university of auckland doing a bach in primary education on my third and last year.ok well you need to search all the univerities around your area and check if they have the degree your looking for.like do you wnat to be an early childhood teacher teaching under 5years?or primary teaching grades 1-8 like me?or a high school teacher?i high school teacher is abit different..for example if you wnat to be an english teacher then you need to do a bachelors in Arts specilising in english and do a year of teaching at uni.youd have to ask your university but thats how my university does it..if you wnat to do bachlero of primary education then go to the website fo your university and search "bachelor of education(primary) and it should tell you all the requirements you need to get into that course.for me i needed to get university entrance aswell as pass a math and english test as well as pass an interview.
if you have any other specific questions please do ask.make sure that you wnat to be a teacher and not doing it because you think itll be easy to get a job.if you dont want to be a teacher and go into the teaching career youll hate it

I actually like teaching, and I especially love english. So Im going to look into, my high school english teacher said she's going to help me look around for colleges and stuff. =] thanks for the advice
