Well, it is hard to go wrong. Most guys are happy to just get one.
I do have some pointers.
First, lubricate. Use lotion, vaseline, ky, or your saliva (you can just lick your hand). No lubricant is ok if it isn't going to last long. Otherwise, friction will get uncomfortable (think indian burn).
Vary the touch. Use your fingertips to lightly stroke the whole length a few times, then grip firmly for a bit. Use both hands to completely wrap his penis up and firmly stroke up and down. Or, use one hand to stroke his penis and with the other cup his balls. Just behind the balls, if you put a little pressure, you'll get a reaction. That is as close as you can get to the male g-spot without fingering him in a place a lot of guys are uncomfortable being fingered.
What will really make it great is pretty simple:
Enjoy what you are doing. What kind of touch do you like? Sure, you don't have the same parts, but the touches are similar. The way he touches you (firm or soft, fast or slow, etc) usually will reflect what he likes.
