i have been with my boyfriend for a while now and we have talked about marriege. he is my first love and i can see myself spending the rest of my life with him. we have had our ups and downs but i trust him and do love him. i just wonder if we're to young to get married. we're both 19 and are going to college. the fact that we are both still teenagers scares me. should age matter if you know for a fact its true love? I honestly don't think that 19 is too young for commitment. It just basically depends on the relationship and the maturity of the people in it, and their trust and willingness to fully love each other to the fullest no matter what. And it also depends on how long you have been together, because usually if you have been together for a few months only, its hard to make it work because you don't really know each other, and then you are gonna have to find out the real side of the person you married the hard way. Its okay that you have ups and downs because no relationship is perfect, and the love and chemistry, that magnetic feel, is the thing that has kept you together through all that. In my opinion, if you guys wanna get married, plan an engagement that goes on for a year or two, then you can be sure, if getting married is what you are ready for. Because not everyone is the same. And then if it all works out perfectly good, then you know, you can go ahead and tie the knot, but at the same time, thinking ahead. I hope this made sense. Goodluck :D
