hey my name is claire,
Okay so I really like this guy, we call each other our "bestest friends" and last night we hung out for the first time and he asked for my number so i gave it to him then i got his. Now when he texts me i'm afraid the conversation is going to be boring like
Him: hey
me: Heyy
him: whats up?
Me: nm bored you?
him: sameee haha
me: coool
...and then its just going to be awkward and boring. i don't want him to think i'm a boring person. so like what could i say to make the conversation go on for like EVER. you know like when you have those late night texts staying up all night texting the one you like? I want to do soemthing like that so like what could i say to make the conversation last long and have him interested in me? Thanks (link)

When I started talking to my friend who I liked (who is now my boyfriend) over text, I would always try and be fun and good to talk to.
Like he'd text me, and, yeah, we'd have the normal conversation to start off like you, but then I said something completely out-of-the-blue to talk about. It could be something silly like how good ice-pops are or something you saw on TV. I always would be random and fun (because he was no fun if it wasn't for me). He really liked that I could be funny, original and bring up different topics every conversation we had.
Have fun and don't worry about what he'll think, in the end, he'll probably want to talk to you more and on a daily basis. If he's not going to be a good conversation-starter, you have to be, so bring up anything that you think would be a good, long and fun conversation.
I usually say things like, "guess what", "oh my gosh, know what?", "know what I like?" and then he'll say, "what?", and then you can go completely random from there.

Oh my gosh, he texted me last night and I just did exactly what you told me, and we ended up texting for 3 hours straight! Thanks so much, the conversation just flowed and it went really well. No awkward moments(: Thanks so much!
