Okay, i apologize in advance for vagueness, or for this being a rather..dumb?..question.
Here it goes;
this year i'm participating in this off-campus hands-on school program through MY school for culinary arts that earns you credits for college while giving you actually experience in the kitchen.
i started this past wednesday and there was this guy who caught my eye immediately. but i'm always too shy to talk to guys on my own, so when my friend dragged him into our conversation, i took advantage of it. he seemed genuinely interested in what i was saying and joked around and made really good eye contact a lot and i was trying my best to be semi-flirty by making good eye contact also, and addressing him directly and that. he just totally got me interested in and attracted to him, (he's got the prettiest eyes.) but anyways. come to find out he's being switched into the morning program, so he won't be in my class anymore. i don't even know if he'll still be there on monday, but if he is, i would hate to miss an opportunity with a nice guy.
my question is; would it be creepy, weird, or simply too soon to ask him for contacts, like his cell number or whatever since he's going to be switched out of my class? and if it's not..what are some ways i could do that without it seeming...too forward and creepy..?

It isn't creppy or weird to ask for his number at all! Just simply ask, hey wanna trade numbers? Or do you have texting? Simple enoughh. (:
