hey guys! what's the difference between an ultrasound technologist and a diagnostic medical sonographer.. or radiologist? to be honest, it's all confusing. i think i want to be an ultrasound technologist, and if im not wrong, it's to show the mother her baby inside her womb with technology... thats one of the options.. please correct me if im wrong though.. also, what degrees will i need? could i achieve a doctorates in this area? someone help!!! thanks =]

An ultrasound technologist is, as you said, "it's to show the mother her baby inside her womb with technology". You got that right.

Radiologists deal with x-rays.

A diagnostic medical sonographer is basically the same thing as an ultrasound.

"could i achieve a doctorates in this area", yes you can.

And check out these websites for the degrees and whatnot.

Hope I helped, let me know.
