Q: 16/f. I really want to get a small tattoo of a 'V' (to represent my vegetarianism and who I am) on my left wrist kind of to the right side next to the vain. I asked my mom about it earlier today and she said she will think about it but she made it pretty clear that she doesn't want me to get a tattoo until I am 18. But I really want it now. What can I do to convince her to let me get this done? I am a good kid. I don't get bad grades and I never get into trouble. I convinced her to let me get my eyebrow pierced almost a year ago so I'm pretty sure I can talk her into letting me get this done if I do it in an adult manner.

try putting it in a diffrent place.. im 16/f also and i got a tattoo of cocopelli and my mom didnt want me to get it but then she said i could if i got it in a diffrent place where it wouldnt be noticable so if i got a good job or something it wouldnt look trashy i put mine on my upper thigh where you can only see it if i wear a bikini try telling your mom you will put it in a diffrent place or think about it .. it made my mom agree

Yeah she said she would like it better if it was in a different place but I really want it on my wrist. If she says absolutely not to that then I will probably get it somewhere else. Thanks!
