advice

I'm confused. how come the firefighters didnt just put trampolines to catch the jumpers so they didnt all have to die? i know they werent prepared but after seeing dozens of people jump why didnt they? i cant imagine it.. i mean falling thousands of feet going at 150 mph.. which takes like 10 seconds from a high floor. and i hear that some people got killed from being hit by these jumpers.. can someone just explain to me how it was like and why they died when they hit the floor? and did their bodies totally break apart or pretty much stay intact? and what do you think was going through their minds as they were about to hit the ground or were about to jump? oh and why werent there hellicopters there to rescue people? i saw a vid on youtube where 2 people landed and it was a terrible racket.. its just the weirdest thought ever. please help.. and i hope this doesnt seem rude or anything. im 14 so when this happened i was only in first grade. then i thought it was funny, the thought of jumpers cause i couldnt imagine that at all. i didnt know they were actually dying and stuff.. and couldnt imagine how that could happen. thanks for the help btw. geez looking up all this 9/11 stuff now that i didnt know about sure is depressing.

ok think about what your saying...if someone is falling at that speed and from that height even landing on a trampoline would kill them. and the firefighters didn't know this was happening!! duh it happened waay to fast for them to do anything. And why werent there helicoptors? BECAUSE NO ONE KNEW IT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN. omg you need to at least know SOMETHING about the topic before you ask a question. im sorry but you sound ignorant. this was a horrible and terrible thing that happened to America and you know nothing about it. This is SAD!!! This is your country! This started the WAR we are in! please go pay attention at school or go to Google for goodness skaes! and im 14 too and i was in seocnd grade soo ya check your dates...
and ya not trying to be mean but i am completely shocked and annoyed at the fact that you know nothing about 9/11 but i did what to help you and clear some things up lol :]

(Rating: 3) oh woops. well in 2001 i was in 1st grade, but i forgot that in the fall i began 2nd. and i just thought that hellicopters may be there.. like you know.. news stations, or just encase they ever needed em you know? and i had been looking it up but they didnt describe the whole jumping thing. im not ignorant. im trying to find out what happened to the jumpers, though i do know what happened in other ways, like the reason for the war (somewhat) and etc, but my question is more specific. stop trying to act like i should totally know everything anyways.. where am i supposed to learn it? we didnt really learn it in school, none of my family was affected by it.. im not even american (african and british) though i am ofcourse gravely upset that things like this happen in the world. but dont assume that america is my "country" and mind you, i do pay attention in school but they didnt discuss 9/11 like.. ever in such detail in school. on 9/11, people just have prayers and all that.. and they discuss 9/11 in overview. it was just now that it suddenly came in my head that i didnt really get what it was ALL about. i mean i heard the basic story but i wanted to know more so i looked it up on wikipedia. i didnt know okay.. that they could die even if there was a trampoline like that. geez.
